A beautiful property for a perfect getaway... A lot of nature trails to explore with in 40-50 km of area..

The tree house was the perfect spot for birdwatching...from treepais to green pigeons, migratory ducks and geese to variety of owls and a lot of parrots...

Tents are cozy, perfect for rainy and winter seasons.

Authentic Rajasthani delicacies were quite satisfying and more than anything else Shivam Bana's (owner of the property) vibe is very humble and welcoming.

Would highly recommend a visit and stay.

Wanted to just halt for a night, but loved this place so much that I stayed there for 2 nights, had great time with the host MR SHIVAM SINGH, felt so homely, relaxed and fresh staying there and sharing our vibes. Staff was very well mannered and helpful, food was delicious and fresh.
This place is surrounded by beautiful mountains and lush green jungle, have this beautiful lake on site, and full of birds.

This location is absolutely beautiful. Between the hills of Bundi, right across the lake from the Kipling House, you immediately understand why this place was the inspiration for The Jungle Book. It is peaceful, but wild at the same time. A very well kept property with lovely tents and very courteous staff, this is perfect for a getaway from the bustle and hectic. Your host, Shivam is the most kind-hearted person I have met in my extensive travels throughout India, and a great ambassador for Bundi, a hidden gem in Rajasthan.

Perfect place to impress your significant other ;)

The Ummaid Bagh Resorts is at a nice and quiet location at 2 kms from Bundi and the owner and staff are friendly. However, our tent did not look like on their website, the carpet was in a bad condition, the bathroom old and guesthouse-standard, but not of a 60-Euro-Accomodation (4000 Rupies). We could change from the tent to a room which was a little bit cheaper (3.500) Rupies, but the quality also was poor and it was not clean. As we found the Ummaid Bagh Resorts totally overpriced for the quality and service we got, we left earlier than planned.

Amazing place to relax. Nice and comfortable stay with absolutely no disturbance. The best part is it is situated just 2 Km from the city, yet the surroundings are very calm. A good place for Bird watchers as it is situated adjacent to the Lake. Nice and homely meals and the Hotel owner himself takes care of the Guests.
Overall this place is Really Value for Money.

The resort has great location but rude staff & owner killed the entire fun. Visited in Dec 2015 with family and rented 2 tents. Apart from general apathy towards customer service, 2 incidences stood out:

1. During our stay, the local police officer was also staying in the resort. The entire attention of the staff was focused on serving him and his family while ignoring the other guests. We were even asked to remove our car from the main parking to accommodate his cars.

2. We asked to arrange a campfire and were told by the staff that they would arrange it and we could have our dinner break during campfire time. However, once we came back from dinner at 9 PM, the staff refused and claimed it was time for them to go home.

When we asked to call the owner, he came completely drunk, was stuttering and was not even able to stand straight. He first ridiculed our request calling 9 PM very late night. He then mocked a family member who was coughing and asked him sarcastically "Even cough is not good enough reason to cancel campfire?". We expected next day he might apologize, but he actually looked at us and smirked.

Overall, We found the entire bahviour very unprofessional and will not visit their again.

Amazing location surrounded with hills & a lake in front of the resort. Big lush green lawns & trees all around. Gardens are well maintained. It really felt peaceful & relaxing environment. The tent accommodation is provided with air-conditioner & heater but didn't need it as second week of Feb was just perfect climate to visit Bundi. The food at the restaurant was also very delicious. And staff was very nice, polite & helpful. And the hospitality of the Maharaja & Maharani of Dugari was very warm & caring. We felt like real royal guests. We would definitely return to Umaid Bagh.
