Hotel Bundi House is a heritage property, well situated on the edge of the old town. Rebuilt in a charming and elegant refuge where Indian tradition and modern services are perfectly blended. The hotel offers a splendid view over the lake, Garh Palace and Taragarh fort and most of the tourist attractions are in walking distance. We offer a cosy and enjoyable home feeling stay, in a picturesque setting with historic details and charming hospitality. We have a real taste of Indian food. Our roof top restaurant offers authentic and delicious homemade Indian cuisine, as well as continental and Chinese specialties on the edge of the old town, but still very peaceful.

While Bundi is a calm, tranquil retreat in an otherwise hectic, chaotic India, Hotel Bundi House offers you the possibility of a further reprieve, your choice of a serene, relaxing oasis. The hotel is on the edge of the town, but is still only a short walk to the Palace and Fort and the markets are readily accessible.
On the other hand if you’ve had enough tranquillity, then engaging in lively conversation with the manager/owner Mr Shanu, or the chef, Tiger, be prepared to be informed, entertained and sometimes challenged all in the one exchange. Engage with local strong boy, Mr Durga Sanker, the hotel’s “go-to” man and you might gain some pearls of local knowledge, but have patience. Mr Shanu is generous with his time and is happy to offer suggestions for your visit to Bundi and beyond, and Bundi has lots to offer. Check out the Go Bundi booklet for ideas.
The haveli style hotel could be described as boutique, with 10 comfortable rooms but there are plans for renovations and extensions. Rooftop is the Baori View Restaurant which consistently ranks highly in tourist reviews and provides delicious meals thanks to Tiger the chef.
All-in-all, a wonderful visit to Bundi would be enhanced with a stay at Hotel Bundi House.

Outstanding hotel
I was staying at another place in Bundi and decided to move to this hotel after eating at the restaurant and meeting the staff.

The hotel is very nice, tastefully decorated, quiet, with a beautiful view of the countryside.
The room was perfectly equipped and very clean. The most cosy I had after 6 months of travel in India.
The food was delicious. Thank you very much to the Master Tiger, who in addition to being an excellent cook, is a very nice person. He showed me how he prepared his chai, so good compared to the ones I tasted before.
The whole hotel staff is very friendly, attentive, helpful and available. I laughed a lot and had a wonderful stay with them.

I absolutely recommend for a relaxing stay, surrounded by lovely locals for company and for the fabulous food!

I will be back soon

What can i say!?...
I loved my time in Bundi.
And while Bundi is a particularly lovely spot (and well worth a visit), it was the friends I made at Hotel Bundi House that made it special.
Their attention to detail and desire to make a guests stay memorable was by far one of the best experiences I've had on my many trips to India.
It felt more like one big happy family.
It was just what I needed being so far from home.
Danish and the team were kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure I experienced all that Bundi has to offer.
From Baori (stepwells) to waterfalls, forts, and palaces, I saw it all.
I booked for 7 days and stayed for 3 weeks, lol.
While I shall dream of my time in Bundi fondly, it was the time I spent and the friends I made at Hotel Bundi house that will ensure it will hold a special place in my heart long after I'm gone.
See you again soon for another game of Chess ♥️

The location is good, the room was pretty much fine. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and helps you unwind after a tiring day of walking around in the town visiting tourist attractions. Danish and his team are always there to sort your queries/ any assistance you may require. It's a decent place to stay when visiting Bundi.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Bundi House for 3 nights and it definitely was amongst the most beautiful guest houses we stayed in during our 3 week India trip. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, still it's just a few minutes walk to the center of the town and different cultural sites in Bundi. The rooms where very spacious, VERY clean and well equipped (drinking water, soap, fresh towels,...) and the hotel staff was ensuring at all times, that everything was perfect and we had everything we needed. A big bonus: There is beautiful and spacious rooftop terrace to hang out. If you come to Bundi, this is the place to stay at!

My third time staying at Bundi House which speaks for itself. Comfy rooms, and a great rooftop restaurant with delicious food and beautiful views of the stepwell, palm trees, and the surrounding hills. It’s a short walk to the palace area through a lovely local neighbourhood. You can’t go wrong here.

We had a great stay! Nice rooms, some with view on the bodhi (ancient water reservoirs), with fan and hot water shower - a treat!
The twi rooftop terraces are a really cool spot to chill after visiting the city, where locals come to enjoy the nice vibes and view. The restaurant serves a nice variety of Indian and foreign food (nice pizza). The staff is very friendly; the young manager Danish is outgoing and nice and will help you in any way you need.

This is a lovely heritage hotel just outside the town but walking distance to the lake. I stayed one night for a wedding and it was such a nice experience. The owner is a delightful young man who speaks good English and was hospitable even though it’s still quiet after Covid, and it was Eid do he was trying to celebrate 😊
The rooms aren’t 5 star luxury but then the price isn’t either. It was pretty and clean and comfortable and I had A/C and a window seat I worked in looking out at the world go by.
In the morning monkeys jumped around and looked in my window 🤣
