We went there for dinner during our stay in Bundi. The staff was friendly. The food was average. The peas and tomato curry were not up to the mark. Chicken Garlic was rubbery. The Dal though was the high point.

This beautiful old palace was a warm, welcoming place to stay that was full of the Indian charm I was looking for. It was a bit run down, but the rooms were decorated nicely and the lawn was a lovely place for breakfast. For the price I'd stay again.

I ate in the restaurant and afterwards didn't bother to even ask about a room, the staff and owner were so rude and unresponsive. Barking "Not possible!" is no way to respond to someone asking about a fruit salad when you're about to put a huge mark up on their bottle of beer. Get over yourselves and get some training... More

I first was to give a critical (positive) review is our last several nights stay at Nawal Sagar Palace in Bundi. I contracted food poisoning from something I ate at a restaurant (not at Nawal Sagar) in Bundi before we extended our stay. I could not have hoped for better care than the owner, Mickey, took of me. He called... More

We stayed at the Nawal Sagar Palace for 2 days and would easily recommend this hotel to all. The location is excellent at the base of the Garh Palace. The rome are comfortable with clean bathrooms. The highlight of this hotel is in its open-ness and proximity to the Lake. Sitting outside in the lawns watching the sunset and feeling... More

Stayed 3 nights. Good setting between the (dirty) lake and Palace on the hillside.Room enormous, good point, but very spartan and not ONE painting or piece of artwork to bee seen! Given its history I was disappointed on this. It reminded me of when you move into a new house before you unpack. Enormous comfortable bed, good point. Relatively quiet... More

As backpackers this was slightly out of our price bracket but they were very accommodating and offered us a room to suit our budget. Room is big and clean. Location is great, right on the lake and has a lovely garden. Peaceful as well. Food wasn't brilliant but priced OK. Easy walking distance to the fort and all of the... More

we stayed in Bundi for two nights at the Nawal Sagar Palace, an enchanting and carefully restored part of the late Maharaja'sfather palace accommodation. The owner was friendly and charming. He was very attentive to us during our stay, and we were delighted that we were dining in the late Maharja's bedroom, which has been sensitively updated, yet keeping the... More
