We stayed at Hotel Bundi Haveli recently on a trip to Bundi. The hotel is a old "haveli" converted to a hotel. The surrounding areas are not great, there is a lot of dirt around. But once you enter the premises of this hotel, it changes completely. The hotel is almost clinically clean and tidy. The premises are very well maintained, and so are the rooms. The rooms are large enough and can easily accommodate 2 adults. The bathrooms are modern (though the lighting in our bathroom as sub optimal - could have been brighter). The rooms are bright and have a lot of natural light coming in. The restaurant is on the ground floor and has adequate seating arrangements within. Again, extremely clean and good place to eat. It has a large menu and almost everything is available round the

Recently I returned from a magnificent trip to India. Bundi Haveli was a highlight of my journey. This was my 4th visit to Bundi, a quiet city in Rajasthan that I highly recommend you add to your itinerary. Bundi Haveli is simply, the best. The rooms are so clean and well appointed, it was a peaceful oasis to return to each evening. I chose to eat at this Haveli most nights as the food is delicious! The chef uses the freshest ingredients and always checks with with the customers to ensure they are happy and well satisfied with their meal. The lobby is welcoming and has the added features of a talented local artist, Yug Prasad as well as a lovely jewelry shop on site. But by far, the best thing about Bundi Haveli, is the incredible staff. Surendra takes care of ensuring your

After visiting several hotels in Bundi, we have appreciated being in this one, very cleaned and calm. The staff is nice and the food is ok. The only problem was the smell in the bathroom that was just disgusting, especially in the morning.

Travelling in India on a budget was easy and as we came to this place we felt like in heaven. Its great for the price and the owners are lovely. We planned to stay only for 1-2 days and of course we stayed way too long. The view is nice and there is a nice window bench for chilling. The garden is lovely but be careful when the monkeys come and keep you bathroom window locked. Would for sure stay there again.

Location is important in Bundi as it is a very congested town. This place is easy to access and close to the sights, of which the most important ones are the Baoris, Kunds and the Palace. The hospitality of Surender and Jitender specially made us comfortable. Though off season, the stay for three including breakfast at 3500 was a good deal. The place is undergoing renovation and we stayed in what looked like a new room, that was large and very Rajasthani. Parking was not an issue like most other places.

Supposedly a 3 star venue. The complex is very quaint and nicely done. No argument there. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. The WiFi is extremely strong - best we’ve had! There is no TV or fridge. Pretty standard for 3 star. The A/C is very poor. That system is on a separate current with no backup generator. Meaning, as is common in India when power shuts down, the A/C does not turn back on. This means the room is excruciatingly hot and stuffy. No ventilation in the bathroom, either. And the haveli is very far away from town. Good for a car to get to, but not good for walking streets and experiencing life.

Nice enough. I like the style, the character. Staff lovely. Rooms nice, A/C bit of a fail, making hard work of sleep . Nice and quiet, probably for the same reasons it demands a long walk into central market. Long walk in heat, not actually long. Would maybe stay again, but I'd never go back to bundi.

I had a terrible experience at Bundi Haveli. The AC do not work. It got so terrible in the room that I had to move to a different hotel. When complained about this to the person sitting on the counter he informed that all AC's work in the same way. Having checked in the morning I had to stay up till lunch time to go out and then find another hotel. Reviews are misleading. Food was also not upto the mark.
