Clean & hygienic environment, delicious, fresh & safe food. Homely atmosphere, quite better from traditional commercial establishments. Just 200 meters away from Keoladev National Park/ Ghana Bird Sanctuary. One should stay at least once to observe the difference.

Please don't go by the ratings. Cold damp rooms with no provision of natural light or artificial room heater. No concept of providing even the basics like drinking water. We had paid in advance and thus could not do anything other than leaving the place. They didn't care to even return the amount and instead charged us for coffee and milk. Anyone who wants to be trapped in a cold room without fresh air or sunlight can go for this lodge. For a room upstaits they were charging 1500. Even a basic health faucet wasnt there and the toilet was dirty. We visited iora which was full but looked much better. Decided to go for ibis although the fooding cost is on the higher side. Any hotel would provide better amenities and it also had no parking.

Sanctuary Tourist Lodge played perfect host to our 5 day visit to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary/ Keoladeo National Park. Mr. Rajesh not only ensured a comfortable accommodation but made every possible effort to make our 3 day-long visits to the sanctuary fruitful. Given his pro-activeness and experience with the sanctuary, guests need not worry about anything. All the help that we needed were provided with a smile - with respect to rickshaw, lunches reaching us on-time from lodge, breakfasts being packed when we had to leave the lodge early, city whereabouts and even helping with contacts who can help with a specific bird sighting. Another highlight of our stay at Sanctuary Tourist Lodge was food - simple, homely and delicious. The lodge is just 10 minutes walk away from the sanctuary. Room was simple but clean. Bathroom and bed linens were neat. It is one of the most economical accommodations especially for longer duration visits.

An excellent hotel with a warm family feel. Very welcoming staff that are happy to help. The lunch was excellent, in traditional vegetarian Thali style. Make sure you try the dessert, the best we tried in Rajasthan.

We stopped in for lunch at the Santuary Tourist Lodge. The food was so tasty and the hospitality from the owner and his staff superb ! We didn’t get a chance to stay overnight but it looked to be well established with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Really enjoyed sanctuary tourist lodge, one of the best places we've started so far - largely because of the owner Rajesh, who could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Clean room and bathroom, all freshly painted. Lovely rooftop restaurant, all food delicious and made to order. Very high quality binoculars lent to us at no charge, full of helpful advice and tips. At breakfast when they didn't have all of the ingredients, they went out to buy them! Felt so at home. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Santuary Tourist Lodge. Rajesh, the owner, was so kind and helpful. He told us everything we needed to know about exploring the National Park and lent us really high quality binoculars free of charge. He explained how to organise train tickets for our onward journey and even came to the rescue when one taxi cancelled on us at the last minute to get to the airport. We arrived late but were still given a freshly cooked and really delicious dinner. Every meal we had there was made completely from scratch (the masala chai was especially delicious here!). There is a nice rooftop restaurant to eat on as well. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and really excellent value. If you want to explore Keoladeo I can not recommend this guest house enough! It is a short walk from the park entrance and you are guaranteed to be really well looked after and feel right at home.

Our group stopped for a traditional thali lunch at the lodge. Beautifully quiet, outdoor shaded patio - the food and service was great. We even got a demo in the tiny (hot) kitchen on the making of chapati! Thank you for a lovely break.
