I often travel all over india and it's the best guest house where i've been. The owner is very kind and take care of you during all the time that you stay. The room are REALLY CLEAN , even the bathroom. You can take the food in this guesthouse, it's typical indian food, really really good , and if you don't like too spicy (for continental people) , they can manage it for you. If you ask anything about time of train or bus, the owner is always happy to help you and give to you real advice. And if you have a question about the keoladeo park, you can ask him. The brother's owner is a guide inside a park and he is always happy to answer you about your ask, without trying all the time to sell something to you. If you come to bharatpur, it's definitly in this guesthouse where you must go. Steven (french)…
The host family is very nice, warm and helpful. Delicious cuisine done freshly everyday (special mention for the kitchiri, perfect for tired stomacs). Bharatpur is a nice small town with friendly people, and the Keoladeo nature parc is rich with birds. The guesthouse is ideally located near the main road Jaipur-Agra, and there are regularily buses in both directions.
My husband and I stayed at Royal Guesthouse for two nights and were extremely pleased. The room we were given was quite clean and a great value for the money, but what really made our visit stand-out was the attentive service we received from the owner and his family. They were extremely accommodating, lovely people, and the owner, Rinkesh, also gave us an excellent guided tour in the national park. Rinkesh's wife is also an amazing cook, and I would definitely recommend eating dinner at the homestay at least once! I should note that the family also runs the nearby Royal Farmhouse, which is a beautiful property where a small farm provides many of the ingredients used in the delicious cooking. If we return to Bharatpur, I will definitely book a room at this property, which was slightly more expensive but was truly lovely and looked like an amazing place for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend looking at that property as well!…
The room is very large and comfortable for the price you pay and the shower is warm with lots of pressure. Rinkesh the owner is helpful guy who speaks English and German and is very knowledgeable of the area. He also operates tours in the nearby national park. Great place!
This guest house is what a real homestay should be like: small scale, welcoming and with a lot of family contact. Rooms are simple and cheap but clean and spacious. A more upmarket alternative is a stay on the farm of the family (4km up the road to Agra). A lovely place to chill out for a day or two, combining tasteful rooms with a spacious organic garden. Family are warm and enthousiastic people.
We liked everything about the guesthouse. The super clean, tidy, spacious, nicely decorated room, hot water and the comfortable, lovely bed. The owners are intelligent, friendly, welcoming people, speaking proper English. 10 minutes walking distance from the Bird Sanctuary. If you are coming from Agra by bus, get off the first main junction, not by the bus stand, because the guesthouse is only 3 minutes walk from there.
It is a really nice place to stay at. The room was clean and not too small. The hosts were very friendly, one of them even speaks german very good. We also had delecious dinner and breakfast there, freshly prepared by themself. If you need to buy some water or refreshing drinks, you can also buy them directly there. The bird park is also just 10 minute walk away. Caution: When going there by bus from Agra, take care to exit the bus at the „stop“ at the junction (from there it‘s a just a 5 minute walk), not only at the bharatpur bus station (from there you need a rickshaw)
This place is run by a very, very nice family. They help you with everything, they serve great food and the chai is delicious. The rooms are nice with hot water, comfortable and clean beds. The family have an amazing farm as well that they will be happy to show you! Thank you!
We stayed at royal guesthouse and went to the birds park . We had a great time there, the family was very nice, the room was big and clean, we had a home made dinner that was fresh and tasty. We also went to see the organic farm the family owns.
We stayed for three nights at the Farm House. The room was spacious, clean and lovely. The location of the farm was perfect for exploring Keoladeo Bird Park, as well as for a day trip to Agra. The home cooked food was a real highlight, and Rinkesh was wonderfully helpful. The farm is very beautiful, especially at sunset.
