This place in itself is like a small palace! Just 200mts from the bird Sanctuary and the Lohagarh Fort is also close by. Food is so-so but you can always walk around for eateries. The rickshaw and cycles are easily available at the hotel gate. Don't think twice just book it !
The place is walking distance from Bird sanctuary. The rooms are spacious, espcially washroom and dressing place. The rooms were neat and clean. Room service was good. The food was a little expensive and no options to look around for food.
While this may be a newly built property - extremely poorly managed ! There is no staff to cater to your services . Each time they have an excuse . You ask for tea- sorry mam it’s 6:30 pm - staff is busy preparing dinner buffet . You ask for someone to mop your room - sorry mam check in is happening(at 11 am!) , it shall be done in an hour , ok . We come back to the rooms at 4 - it’s still unclean as check in is happening . You ask for any service - they have some excuse or the other . Towels are super dirty , no toiletries . You ask for water … they give you empty bottle - please fill it from the RO outside the restaurant . Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Even if this is the last hotel available in Bharatpur - postpone your trip and get some other hotel . And yes most importantly, food - absolute rubbish . Only boiled eggs and papad were edible !…
This was my second visit to Birders inn in Bharatpur after 5 years. The booking was hassle free . You may need to contact hotel directly for booking. The hotel still maintains its charm. The plus point of this hotel is the location, just next to the bird sanctuary. This time I stayed in the new building which was adjacent to the old one. The room was spacious and clean with all necessary amenities. The Breakfast and Dinner was average. Hospitality can be area where it can still be improved.
This is the 4th time I have stayed in this property and have always enjoyed staying here in the past. This time however it was an average stay and standards seem to have slipped a bit. The room was fine and comfortable, however the water temperature and shower pressure was well below desired. No room service is also a it of an inconvenience. There were no convenient charging points at the bedside which is quite strange. There was no buffet and the Ala carte food was good but expensive for what was offered. Staff also was a bit laid back and found it a bit strange that they were not willing to give a late checkout even till 1 or 2 pm and insisted that I pack my stuff at 6Am as I was going to the bird park early morning. While I understand the checkout time, the hotel didn't seem so busy and full that they would need my room, however it's possible though unlikely. Otherwise its sill a good choice near the gate of the bird sanctuary, quite well maintained, clean and comfortable, apart from the issues mentioned above.…
I liked my stay in Birder's Inn very much. The lovely architecture of the building, the cosy yard and verandahs, the sunny terrace, the bon fire in the garden in the evening! Tasty Indian food, nice bed and bed linen. A room with a window to open! Possibility to smoke outside the room, on the verandah. Very close to the entrance of the Bird sanctuary, just a few minutes walk. Recommended.
Went their on a weekend with my family which include two kids. The location of the hotel is very good, parking can na a big problem. They don’t have a desired area for parking. Rooms are clean and tidy but water supply can be a major turn down. Hotel has a way too salty water supply. The third major problem with the property is food. They don’t have in room dining and the kitchen functions only for limited time. You have to have their buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Buffet spread is also not very great and limited. In all I would just rate this hotel 3 out of 5.
Nice quiet place close to the sanctuary. The reception was good and the rooms were in good condition. Well decorated rooms. They have larger rooms though not available through web booking. Breakfast was as desired since the occupancy was less then. One can get a rickshaw to the park from just outside the hotel. Not much room for parking though. Overall a good experience.
If you like staying in heritage hotels this is one of the places you can prefer to stay and somehow close to nature as hotel is trying it's best to keep you close to nature by promising the same stay as you see in photos. So yes, as per the photos the property looks similar. But there is a huge need to renovate whole lot of things in the room, Bathrooms/Taps/Toilets are already running above their tenure and is in dire need of maintenance. Staff: Hotel staff is quite courteous and tries to offer you the very best but they are not as professional as they should be. Eating Policy: We wanted to have dinner at the hotel itself but at first the staff told us that it is only buffet and at second day the staff was calling at rooms to take orders as a la carte as well. I guess this depends upon the no. of guests staying at the hotel which if found to be quite misleading. Overall an average stay, as we love staying at heritage hotels and this is better if not best which requires some needed maintenance.…
Mr. Shashank was excellent and when our room AC did not work he offered us another room and in fact gave us two double beds rooms !! It was fabulous. But we would have liked to stay in the deluxe room had the AC been working. The property is good but they need to ensure that everything works. The toilets in one of the rooms was problematic but I am sure they will soon do the needful. About food: it was good but they should not serve heavy stuff like dal makhani in dinner as it is too heavy.
