The Bagh is a heritage hotel set in 32 acres and in two hundred year-old garden in Bharatpur Rajasthan, it is located just four hours away from major destinations such as Delhi, Jaipur and Gwalior. The Bagh offers visitors an opportunity to experience quiet luxury near Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the most famous bird sanctuaries in the world. The hotel's 38 rooms are located in three different residential complexes. A restaurant, banquet hall, coffee shop, library and a gym, all situated in a verdant orchard, allow guests to enjoy solitude and companionship in restful indoor and outdoor spaces. Each of the Bagh's 38 rooms is unique. Spacious bathrooms, luxurious fabrics, fine furnishings and the amenities of modern technology let the weary traveler retreat and recoup after a day of sightseeing and bird watching.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
The place is so full of peacocks that the name of the resort can actually be called ' the Mor Bagh'. That said, the peacocks are harmless and a pleasure to watch. One can spend hours following their routine. The resort is located 10 mins away from the bird sanctuary and is easily accessible. The staff is courteous and polite. The resort offers room service and the service was quite prompt. The food is just above average (with the exception of fish and bhindi do pyaza which are par excellence). The buffet is priced very reasonably. The upkeep of the rooms is below average. Everything in the room looks dull and dreary. They do not offer bottled mineral water in rooms but claim that the filled bottles have filtered water. Rooms have no wifi. Bathrooms need improvement. The property is big enough so I am sure what they charge as room price goes in mainatainence, but if I look at the room we stayed in, the price was not value for money.

The Bagh is a charming traditional property set in 40 acres of its own land. It offers simple, traditional hospitality and charm, set in nature. The rooms are in pavilions, the oldest of which is a century or older. The staff are helpful. The restaurant offers Indian food buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Bagh has a lot nature within its own grounds, including a naturalist who can take you around and help you spot birds and a bird blind. Bharatpur is of course a hot spot for birding. The famous Bird Sanctuary is 10 minutes away by car, and the front desk staff arranged for a car and naturalist with a scope. The birding was amazing. The quiet setting of hotel is wonderful and restorative. The note is for those who have mobility challenges. There is a considerable walk between points in the property (reception to the room, to the restaurant). The property offers an electric rickshaw that gets you around, and is readily available.

This resort is built in 42 acres land and is huge. The junior suite is very spacious and can easily accommodate a family of four. The washroom was huge and it had a full-size tub as well as a shower cubicle.
The resort has over 100 peacocks-peahen roaming freely to entertain kids. They have some rabbits chicken and roosters too. They have a cowshed too where kids can see in evening how to milk cows. The resort has various fruit trees and vegetable plants which are shown during nature walk conducted by them.
The resort had a library and a huge ground to play football or cricket.
Food Menu is not very wide but the quality of food is very good. Most of the vegetables and fruits are the ones which are grown in the resort. Cow milk from resort it self used for preparation. Chef is available in restaurant to check in case you need any specific dish. Got special no chilli food for our son easily.
Visit for at least 2 nights.
Some loud music can be heard in hotel from adjoining village.

We booked it online for a two-day stay but after reaching the hotel we were so disappointed. the entrance is so unimpressive and the reception was so dirty that I wanted to change the hotel. We were given a room next to the swimming pool which was full of mosquitoes and for a very average room, I was given the rate of 11k plus taxes. We stayed there for 1 night and checked out the next morning. Even the food was tasteless and horrible. The property is very big but very poorly managed.

We were 5 couples and a bachelor .... Looking for some place amidst nature. We opted for The Bagh at Bharatpur. One of us, Dr Parikshit Gautam recommended this place and we went for it.

I stayed in The Bagh for one day with family. The rooms are good (with mosquitoes), food is of average quality with limited options, staff is polite (not attentive all the times) and it is around 5 kms from Bird Sanctuary. The best part about the property we liked was staying in the huge forest/nature with lot of peacocks, birds, etc. It was memorable and mesmerizing experience. If you are a foody (food lover) go to laxmi vilas palace, bharatpur (around 2 kms from this property, but if you are nature lover, no other property matches this property in Bharatpur.

I will review only their restaurant as I didn't stay in this hotel but had dinner with my family. The Bagh has a good restaurant, lots of choice in Indian food with some (expensive) wines and drinks. The food was good, served in a mix of Indian traditional style with old-English colonial atmosphere. The staff was super kind and attentive to everyone's needs. Food was served quickly and tasted very good. Not a mandatory stop in Bharatpur but we spent a very nice and quiet evening there!

Excellent experience, ambience is good and the staffs are really give you homely feelings. And obviously foods are just wow! It's absolutely recommendable and we will already done. The main part is entire property maintained very well. In evening you will have live music sang by one of the staff from resort and just fabulous. And nevertheless the manager Mr Umesh Rawat and the Mr Dinesh both are just excellent and I will highly recommend to contact.

It was a wonderful experience staying for one night at the property. The moment we stepped in it was like a paradise not to be missed. Could witness many peacocks, a few migrating birds while moving towards our rooms. The Newly built Rooms were spacious n well equipped with basic amenities. The bathrooms too were spacious. The rooms were warm enough to beat the severe cold wave during our one night stay.
Mr. Bhoopinder, the Manager was kind enough to help us out n look into into the slightest of our requirments at any given point of time . The entire group of 46 Rotary club members were satisfied with food quality n the services rendered at the time of all the 3 meals we had at the property. The chef Mr. Choudhary did wonders n left our taste buds wanting for more n more .
The nature walk in the morning with in-house naturalist was wonderful, and refreshing. Nice gardens to soak the winter sun in, as well as the wild shrubbery to make birds at home. I salute the owners. All in all, a very satisfying experience.

Choose this place if you want to spend some time away from the hustle bustle of city life. A vast property spread over 40 acres, this place is home to over 100 peacocks and scores of other birds that you can see flocking around. Rooms are comfortable, luxurious with fresh food, most of which is sourced from their own farms. Take the nature walk with their naturalist Guddu, an amazing photographer with a detailed knowledge of birds. All in all, a great stay
