Located only 219 kms from Delhi,Bharatpur makes for a perfect road trip from the capital. A favorite haunt for bird-watchers who come to visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is located 100 meters from the park, makes for an ideal base. Inspired from traditional Rajasthani architecture, the resort has pretty jharokas, high ceiling rooms and terrace dining.

I stayed here for three nights. The track from the main road leading to the hotel is rough, a muddy one. The property is relatively new and so shows no great signs of wear and tear. However maintenance is an issue. The toilet needed better cleaning, the seat was broken, the towels were not there and used soap lay on the wash basin. The common toilet outside the dining room was a mess. The smaller dining place needed a good dusting and the larger hall on the first floor could do with a change of tablecloths. The kitchen is slow to produce your order.
If this does not deter you and you don't mind getting the staff to get things in order, then this a homely place with large rooms, very near the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary.

The property is tucked inside a dirt road but, gives you a chance to be away from the major highway trafic that runs between Agra and Jaipur. It is very close to Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. It is a new hotel and has big rooms with modern amenities. The place is clean and has a small lawn.
The lower restaurant is just four table affair where as the one upstair is a large but has no washtroom. If one need it, he has to go to his own room for same. Meals/breakfast takes long to arrive. It is best to order it at least half hour befoe you arrive restaurant.
The owner is all smile and it looks like he has clue for every problem. I still has to check if he really is as good as he poses to be. My personal experience never was good as many mails, sms and personal errand was over looked. He vaguely evern suggested me for the payment of one room which I had cancelled through above means. Though he seems to be co-operative and wish to help you out, I found him to play tricks with bills as he over charge for meals which he smartly adds through what he calls as 'package. Whether you have accepted it or not, he expect you to accept it.
There is nothing wrong with the accommodation or facility provided but, one has to be carefull with transport arranged through him. Even a auto rickshaws arranged by him to reach station has small commission attached, meals if wished to be delivered to the park strictly should be taken in writing as far charge is concered or else he bound to charge as 'package'. He also also add 10% tax to bill for breakfast and meals. When, asked for a bill having regisered sales tax or other related tax, he smiles and quitely turn you down.
My advice is, before you turn up at above hotel, please get every thing in writing before you find a pocket smartly emptied.

Kiran Villas Palace is a small budget hotel! I won't rate it as great. The property is built on a small plot and the pictures posted on internet of the lawns is deceptive. The room we stayed in was quite big but it was cold. The temperature was not maintained for try didn't have any system to do it. When asked for a room heater they said its chargeable...Rs 300 for a night! The food was highly overcharged. Four slices of bread with pinches of butter, an omelette and a cup of tea was for Rs 250 plus taxes! In the name of a restaurant they have a small room with four tables. The food we had for dinner was average and don't think of trying Chinese food! Now coming back to the room, the bathroom was fitted with a bathtub which was dirty and the toilet seat was broken. Basic things like toilet paper, foot-mats were missing too! They didn't provide any complimentary drinking water. There were no tea-coffee makers in the rooms.

Very poor . The only good thing is that it's well decorated. You have to carry your own quilts as they provide poor blankets which can't help you from winter. No heater or blower available.
Food is terrible. You have to order 2 hours in advance and then you will not get your order but what is available with chef. I had to go outside to take dinner as they took order of parantha but later on told that only tandoori roti is available.
Phone in room doesn't work. If you are on 1st floor then keep ready to go up and down by stairs.
Staff is rude. Hot water is hardly available in tap.
Over all highly terrible stay. Will not recommend this property .
RO water is given in previously used bisleri bottles like you get in a lodge.

I used to stay here regularly during my visit to Keoladeo but over years the situation is getting bad to worst. Only thing they are after is your money and they are extremely rude if you try to bargain or dispute a charge on bill.

Served horrible nd stale food & on top of it Staff demanded money for liquor as tip for the "service".
They will charge you for everything, even for a piece of jaggery with GST on top of it...haha.

Room look nice & big but smell bad, bed sheets are not clean and blankets are dirty, never washed or cleaned ever, yuck!!!

Checkout is quick with your invoices promptly prepared & calculated to suck out every possible penny from your wallet, no card or digital wallet accepted, payment only in cash. Staff will gather around your car at gate for a parting tip.

It's a classic case study for hospitality industry for how not to run a small hotel business. There are many other decent options available in Bharatpur, avoid this place.

The location of the hotel is all what is nice.

food was ok, management was bad, rooms are small, if you ask for an extra bed in room they vl just give you a mattress on floor, bathrooms are bad needs to be repair..

They vl just add money in your bill for each and everything. Place is nice in built but very poor management. One should avoid this place to stay specially with a kid.

At the time of checkout all they offer you is nothing but a heavy loaded bill which they do not discuss earlier.

I oftenly travel to Bharatpur and I've been already in every hotel there as I like to discover new places) this hotel amazed me! It's made by rajasthani style. It's beautiful and clean. Our room was big and neat and clean. Service is also good. Food was really yummy 🤤 prices are also reasonable! And it's very close to Keoladeo bird sanctuary. I strongly recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone in Bharatpur!

It seems as if Everyone calls their guesthouse a Palace in bharatpur! This is fraud and the pictures for this hotel are misleading. I went there in the diwali weekend in November and the experience can be summed up in single word. Terrible!!

Worst Food. My friend got heartburn and stomach ache after consuming the chicken which felt and smelt quite old. The vegetarian food was absolutely rubbish as well. On the top of that, what we thought oregano in the MacNCheese was actually **dead bugs**. The receptionist had the audacity to tell us that these were not bugs, but condiments.
This made us really angry and we asked him to eat his own tentacled and hairy bugs which he referred to as condiments.

Worst Rooms, The rooms smelt bad all the time. Our room was 102 close to the entrance. It was difficult to pin point where the smell was coming from. The sewage smell is from a small sewage pond right adjacent to the hotel. When we pointed out for the smell, the receptionist refused to change our room and told us that this stink is ambient in BharatPur air!!!

All in all, it was the worst day stay. Especially after tiring 5 hour journey from delhi, the stay in this hotel was not welcoming at all.

Food was not served in time. Bed linens were dirty, probably used again and again. Room was not available in time and we had to wait for 2 hours, even though booking and payment was done two days in advance. Manager has no concern for the inconvenience of the visitors and also misguided us regarding trip of the city. The most dangerous thing is it is not safe for single lady guests or ladies. Not recommended at all!!!!

I stayed here for a day on the New Year's eve. The stay couldn't have been worse. The manager of the hotel could not give us a room for the night, so he asked us to spend the night in another hotel and promised to provide accommodation at a "discount" the next day at Hotel Kiran Villa Palace. The accommodation arranged by him was terrible. The entire night there were people shouting and fighting with each other at the hotel reception. The hotel was right on the main highway and it was extremely noisy. To put a cherry on the top, there was no running water in the morning. The manager of Hotel Kiran Villa palace charged us an exorbitant amount for this and was extremely rude when we tried to bargain. The next day we shifted to Kiran Villa, the rooms are unkempt and the staff is extremely rude. Avoid this hotel at any cost.
