Great place. We stayed two nights, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was home cooked and tasty. Davinder Singh, the owner, organised our safaris into the park, including pick up from our front door, lunch which was sent in so we didn’t have to come back out and pay twice, and being a naturalist himself, organised his friend, Ranbir Singh, one of the very best naturalists I have had the pleasure of meeting, to be our expert bird guide for our trip. If you are a birdwatcher, go to Iora Guest House, stay with Davinder and ask for Ranbir to be your guide if he is free! And since Iora is a fave of local and international birdwatchers we met some interesting people with interesting stories that enriched our experience. Thank you Davinder and Ranbir for a truly memorable trip to Bharatpur.

Very welcoming and responsive host- thanks for being so accommodating. My room was 1st floor. Nice to sit outside on the balcony. Super clean and comfortable. A/C and fan. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was also very clean with great hot water shower and bucket. I had a great birding guide organised for me. Included breakfast was tasty and flexible. I wish I had another night to have enjoyed dinner there (unfortunately too full from a late lunch). Excellent budget price point. Recommended.

Stayed at the Iora Guest House for 1N 2D. One of the best places to stay in Bharatpur. Very Homey atmosphere. Staff was wonderful. Devender ji keeps the place amazing. Rooms are fantastic, clean big bathrooms and food is fantastic. If you are looking for a stay in Bharatpur. This is it.
Bonus is Devender ji knows everything and really helps you a lot with your planning.
I went for a Photography session. They even send food inside the Park. That's ultimate comfort.

We stayed at Iora Guest house for 2 nights from 14/11/23 to 16/11/23. Mr. Davinder Singh was excellent. Rooms were very nice with all facilities. He booked our Rickshaw safari, arranged for an excellent guide, made all arrangements for us. No need for us to stand in any lines. His food was excellent. Arranged to send it inside Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. No need for us to come out each time. Both for breakfast and lunch. Really thank you Mr. Davinder. 5 Star stay ,food and arrangements. Would definitely highly recommend your place.

A birding trip to Bharatpur was organised by someone we knew, who regularly stayed at Iora. The stay is simple and neat, with well maintained rooms.
The manager and his staff are also very obliging. The food is also simple, but ample. We all loved the Amul curds the most and had lots of servings. There is rice, dal, rotis, sabsi, and dessert.
The place is close to the sanctuary, but not walkable with equipment. Definitely need a tuk tuk.

So good to visit India again after a three year gap. A welcome return to the Iora, for a four night stay. A very good simple place to stay with an excellent team, and great food. It was good to sit on the roof terrace, relax and take in the rooftop views.

The Iora is a great little hotel. We have stayed here a number of times. It’s our go to hotel in Bharatpur. The team are great and the food is freshly prepared and very good. There is much more to the city than the bird sanctuary (which is really worth a visit) including the old fort.

Dont be deceived by the rates. A place offering lower rates doesn't necessary mean there would be any compromise in the services or room offered.
Clean rooms and linens. 10 minute walk (1 KM) from the main entrance of the park. Excellent Egg and Veg food options. Room service for bed tea early morning.
Devendra has excellent knowledge of birds.
Got us an excellent cab deal to delhi airport. 20% cheaper than the most options we were offered online.

we stayed one night in Iora in January and we really enjoyed the place! little guesthouse, in a quiet street but with a nice staff and great food!The rooms are very nice too!we would recommend to everyone with a little budget but looking for something nice! Only 12 to 15 minutes walking distance from the bird sanctuary. Well maintained, good service, stay was comfortable and its as value for money property. The owner also a brilliant photographer. And you must take tips from him before going to the park. It's surely a must recommend property.............

Iora not only serve vegetarian food, they have chicken on the menu, but you should order at least 3 hours before the meal.
I think, the room is no smoking, but there are terraces and roof top you can use for smoking.
No kettle on the room, but you can ask for hot water in the dinning room

We stayed there for three days and spent most of the time in the bird sanctuary.
Not sure about the bus facility. From Bharatpur railway station we paid appx Rs 100 to reach this place. Mostly it may cost you similar to reach the bus stand,
The Keoladeo National Park, which has thousands of birds, is a short distance from the Iora Guest House. The guesthouse owner is an avid birdwatcher and photographer and full fo wonderful advice. You can take an auto rickshaw to the park, or even walk. And then you can walk or rider through the park itself.

You can bring your own Beer ; that will not be an Issue.
Regarding Non-Veg Food - give them a notice at least 3-4 hours in advance since they prepare food fresh .
