Palatial experience, about a 3.5 hrs away from Delhi. Nice , freshly renovated property with manicured lawns, the rooms are well sized with basic necessities. Breakfast was a let down , usually late and not having much variety though lunch and dinner were good with a good spread Service is warm, though a bit slow. All in all a good getaway from Delhi , also a base to visit the Kaledeo bird sanctuary ( just a 10 minute drive).
Our tour visited here for lunch very recently. Splendid place. On-site shop owner very helpful indeed. Well worth going out of your way to visit. Incredibly interesting old photos and pictures decorate the main restaurant room.
Beautiful property let down by poor management. The staff at reception unfortunately are poor in maturity, communication and hospitality. So called play area has one of the most amazing snooker tables but no stick to play with. When we requested to borrow the sticks from pool table, they surprisingly told that you cannot take the stuff from one table to another. Hilarious. This is when we checked into the royal suite.
Worst property to visit.. Scary experience ... Staff willing and more than ready to hit / fight and abuse for their own mistake. No hospitality what so ever .. Actually it should not be operating as a hotel itself. There is no manager at the property. He is not ready to speak over the phone as its a sunday and he doesn't entertain guests on sundays... No other person ready to taking any responsibility for the damage to the guests property ... Even if there is no other option to book a place in bharatpur ... This property can be and should be SKIPPED.. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! HAVEN'T SEEN HOTEL PEOPLE ABUSING THE GUEST AND READY TO FIGHT EVER !!!! TOTALLY AVOID AVOID AVOID!! ❌⚠️⚠️⚠️❌
Lovely hotel situated in lovely spacious grounds. The decor in the dining room was beautiful and the food was delicious. Rooms had character and reflected the architecture of the entire palace. What fun to have a chain and padlock to secure your room door. Sleep quality was good. The stay at the Laxmi Niwas Palace was a great experience.
This hotel is very nice and offers great outdoor spaces and facilities, its rooms are very spacious and with large terraces and all comforts, however service and cleanliness could be improved, forex rates are not attractive.
The hardware is breathtaking and the food and service we experienced was top notch. A very comfortable bed,English tuck-in sheet style, and friendly well-trained staff. The pool looked inviting but alas we had no chance to swim in it owing to lack of time. If you are interested in the days of the Maharajahs there's lots to look at and enjoy.
Awesome Place Laxmi Niwas Palace in Bharatpur.. Loved the place and surroundings... Food served was delicious. Pool side is beautiful. Rooms are very huge with very good interiors. As its a PALACE.. its beautiful architecture
Retracing the footsteps of Kings and Queens, soaking in the splendor of royal heritage, tip-toeing down colonnades bristling with the intrigues of yesteryear palace residents- such is the charm of this oasis in the middle of nowhere. It is an experience in itself- not just a place to stay but a chance and choice to be part of bygone historical narratives intertwined with all modern trappings of wi-fi, conference facilities, luxurious amenities served in a silver platter by sensitive servers. A grandiose glimpse of Royal Rajasthan.
This place is so nice and being in the middle of nowhere, possibly the best property to stay in Bharatpur if you happen to be there for some reason, especially birding. The hotel is nicely done, well maintained and is magnificent. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, interiors excellent, facilities A-class. There is a lovely pool too, and the dining hall is just stunning. Having said that, I think their staff needs a thorough training in hospitality. For a state that thrives on tourism, this is possibly the worst case of staff attitude I came across. They are not actually bad or rude, but their coldness and disinterest just puts you off. Right from the reception to check-out, no one seems to be interested in your visit and giving them business. Even the dining staff look cheesed off if you ask them for anything. We asked for evening tea and it felt like we were imposing. The place is great if you can handle the staff attitude and I sincerely hope the management takes note and makes amends. I'd go back there again, but only if they train their staff well in hospitality and service. …
