We have just checked in. The rooms are spacious but very dirty linen...the sofas are so full of dirty marks that cant even sit on it..half the things are broken ...the moment I sat on bed I started sneezing...the bedsheets pillows etc look unwashed and unused since looong. Service the most pathetic ever. No internal phone to call reception. U have to call via mobile. One room geyser was not working. One room the bathroom door was not shutting..chairs are broken...breakfast was very sad. If u are on a holiday and visiting bharatpur bird sanctuary with family this is definitely not the place to stay.
Located right beside the Agra-Jaipur Highway, Swaraj Resort is a good choice for budget travelers at Bharatpur. Keoladeo Ghana National Park is just 1 km away from the resort and can be reached easily by a rickshaw. Rooms are spacious, airy and, clean. Washrooms are spick and spean with a 24-hour hot water facility. Though expensive, the quality of the food is really good. The staffs are very polite and helpful. Overall, this property is highly recommended for birdwatching trips to Bharatpur.
A group of us decided to book the place for New year - from dec 30 2021 for 3 nights. And we had a blast. Seems like they were towards the end of their renovation so the rooms, and pool side were completed - but work was still being done to create a gym etc (but we don't really care about the gym - so no worries) . The rooms were clean, nice and spacious. At night, they had a wonderful poolside setup - with bonfires, and light music------(we were told that this setup is done throughout the year). We had dinner by the bonfire- it was great. The food was great in general except the veg manchurian which lacked flavour, and was just not good. The new owners are extremely active and asked us a few times, if everything is fine. I am only docking 1 star because we had to wait an hour for our room to be ready. Check in time was 2pm - but I honestly think they should make it 12pm.…
Property is big and nice but not at all maintained. Rooms are big enough but bathrooms were stinking. Basic amenities were missing like no play area, pool was dirty, ground not maintained, soaps/dental kitts not provided etc. Staff is very very helpful. I will specially mention Harveer and Rajveer for their support for the problems we faced. i believe owner needs to pay more attention in making this place great stay for tourists.
Stayed here in March 1st week for the weekend and we had quite a wonderful time. Big rooms, decent breakfast, and fantastic dinner with bonfire - all perfectly done. They also provided us with a private server for us in the evening and we were a small group of friends. The quick service and just dealing with one person made the whole stay a lot easier. Go for it

This property is located opposite side of National park (hardly 10 minutes walk). You can easily spot endangered species of birds from the hotel's sitting area and listen them from the room.Resort have big rooms with varanda which is very rare now days.Meals are also very good so I highly recommend this property.
We are here with our group now on our third night; and we are really quite happy with our stay. Food is great; the rooms are quite huge for the 3 of us; the view is amazing and so is the location. The staff is very polite and they are excellent in doing their job. Sometimes, service can seem a bit slow and we had to look for the manager to order more rotis etc. i am taking off 1-point because of the fact that they don't have 24-hours room service; which is very important for a resort.
