This was our favourite stay during a 3 week tour of India. Taj, Tina, Digvejay, little Frank, and their house boy could not have done more for us. Their local knowledge was excellent. Rooms were clean, airy and with good air-con. Tina cooked us some excellent contemporary Indian food in the evenings, and Digvejay was always happy to chat and make sure we wanted for nothing. The Guest House location is quieter than places like Delhi and Agra, and a really nice friendly place to chill. It is also very close to a famous Bird Sanctuary, which was a superb day out. We were made to feel like one of the family throughout our 3 night stay.
I stayed for 6 nights in Jan/Feb.It was my 5th time at the Falcon and it certainly feels like home from home. The cost of the rooms are very, very reasonable and are immaculately maintained. The home cooked meals are from totally fresh ingredients and made to suit your requirements. However, what makes the Falcon such a great place to stay are the owners who go out of their way to help you as a matter of course.Nothing is too much trouble for them. Many thanks to Tej,his wife Rajini and daughter Tina .Hope to see you all again in the not too distance future. Again many thanks for your kindnesses. Peter/Tiger-watcher.
We had a great time at Tina's place, her and her family were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, very clean and quiet. We enjoyed the delicious homemade food. Easy to reach the birds sanctuary by food, only a few minutes to walk.
We are a family of five and stayed for one night in the end of November 2019. The warmth and homely atmosphere on arrival and during the stay, along with clean rooms and home made food made the stay extra special. As we do not eat much spice, while cooking the owners ensured that the food has minimal spice. Will recommend Falcon Guest House and will definitely stay there during our next visit.
Tina and her parents are absolutely lovely and make you feel completely at home the moment you arrive, keeping you well fed on beautiful home-cooked meals (some of the best food we had in India) and being constantly on hand to help out with taxis and all any other assistance you need. The warmth and decency of the hosts made this one of the best places we stayed at in India - Bharatpur town itself ain't much but the local national park is worth seeing.
If you're looking for peace and the right of friendly and leaving you to your self, with comfortable, clean rooms, aircon and good food, all at a good price then I highly recommend the Falcon Guest House! We choose out because of it's good ratings by previous guests and were not disappointed.
Falcon guesthouse is an excellent choice if you come for Keoladeo. A very warm and efficient welcome, two clean and nice rooms with lovely balconies and a perfect location in walking distance of the bird sanctuary. We also had home-cooked dinner which was delicious! A special mention of the morning chai, which was the very best in our 3 weeks India travel: fresh ginger and a real masala taste!
Very peaceful and nice garden where the family that runs the hotel grow their own vegetables. Food and service is great and the people are absolutely nice and helpful! One of my favourite places on the whole trip!
Guest house owned by a super friendly family, eager to make your stay a great experience, advice, help with issues. Great food, nice chat, ideal quiet location close to the park. Has been recently renovated
