First its 3 star property and located on main road.
We travelled with family with 2 kids and specifically asked for non smoking rooms but when we entered the room there was smoking smell all over..instead of changing the room they just sprayed the room freshener ..saying its done sir.. Didn't like this attitude
Room service menu rates were even more than 5 star property...e.g. mineral water bottle - 90 rs

Also one tip - avoid asking auto walas for good food joints they will take u to expensive restaurants where they hv their own share. There. Is food market ( rehri) opposite this hotel at walking distance where u will get all the options...all the best

All ok, staff, cleanlliness, breakfast all good. Due to COVID-19, swimming pool and fitness centre was closed. Restaurant girls are very nicely behaved. Sanitization was done properly at Reception. Would like to come again.

Rooms are spacious but that’s all - quality of furniture, fixtures is poor. Iron called for was no ware to be called iron and more over it was sticking to clothes. When asked for another iron was told as of now only this is available. Towels in room were not properly washed. No water in room.
Has just 1 night to spend that too 2-3 hrs actually so could manage, hence my title that if you are not getting anything else then this could be alternate for a night

I've visited Amritsar in the last week of Jan 2020 and stayed here for 2 nights with my family. Our stay wasn't like we expect from Country Inn.
First of all, it doesn't have proper parking space. However it has, used for the banquet guest and hotel guest's vehicles are parked away on the street.
Another point is there is no proper space in room at all. Rooms are very small in size and even the bathroom fixers are not at par standard. No proper kits available there as well.
Breakfast menus are very limited and monotonous.
There was no functional Swimming pool as committed.
Overall it is not what we supposed to get from "Country Inn By Radisson"

Don't Stay if you are a Elite Loyalty Holder as they don't know what is it. Even though after complaining and confirmation of the front desk to address it things were still not in place. The only thing good is the food. service wise there is a sheer absence of commitment and the punch is missing in the personnel to be inclined towards providing service. location wise its ok. but if you are reactive to noise kindly reconsider your decision as acoustics are not up to the mark. higher floors might solve the noise from outside but the corridor sounds still persists. This hotel has nothing to do with Radisson. The hotel needs investment and is in extreme poor condition - AC not working, torn linen, no toiletries, limited breakfast options, stinky pool and short manpower causing bad service…. The front office / reservation needs soft skill training in guest management and discipline in honouring room rates commitment - I was asked to pay more during check in (even after paying advance of 20 days) as their room tariff have increased during Aug 15 holiday and I had no where to go. Very bad service, dirty rooms and bathroom, the AC was not working properly and the bathroom was flooded with water because of leakage. No hair dryer or iron provided. No precaution for covid was taken. And the front desk did not provide much support even though we asked for cab services. We got a response that they are hosting an event and we will have to look up the internet. The internet was pathetic

Hotel is very run down and is in bad need of refurbishment. Did not feel any attention was givEn to covid safety. No towels in the room first night. Wifi was really bad and tv remote batteries weren’t working among other things - kettle was dirty, toilet accessories were not the best etc.

Well, quite a nice property, 2 km from railway station and golden temple. The staff was friendly and rooms were good too. Breakfast also had good choices. The bathrooms were fine too but the shower was really bad and was leaking. This is an old property so one should not expect a modern hotel with flashy furniture and tiles. Overall, i would say, a good place to stay in Amritsar as it is right in the center and in the hub of the city.

i booked my trip to amritsar on Agoda.com website, booking ID 936325865. Due to prices attraction, we booked Country inn's , Queens Road considering its Radisson group property. & card was suppose to be charged at hotel. But it was wonder to receive message that card is charged same day, later found that property has no relation with Radisson & It is in deep financials crisis as per other reviews this has happened to other visitors too. While reporting to agoda immediately, agoda refused to accept that card is charged, while sharing email & text messages , Agoda refused everthing & insisted to provide banks statement, Agoda team doesn't know that transaction statement can not get same day, it takes time to generate statement, it only meant that Agoda wanted to buy time. I recommend never believe Agoda for security of your card. As card details are shared with hotel & hotel can charge your card any time. This is worst experience, ever had with online bookings. I never recommend to book this property as cautios visitor to pay little more & be safe

Amritsar is not a very big city, so everything is close by. Rickshas r easy and cheap. Golden Temple is not very far from this property.
Yes parking space available. They also have free valet parking from the hotel.
I guess check out depends on the Coustomer. He or she can check out when ever they wish for. Hotel is concerned with their room rent. Even if u r staying for few hours they will charge u for one full day.
