Detailed Reviews
We visited this Haveli property recently. It is a nice place to unwind yourself in the surrounding company of open fields. Only Vegetarian food served except Non-veg starters in the evening. Healthy cuisine. Nice for one day family stay. Rooms nicely furnished and ceiling walls with mirror design. For kids, we had horse/camel/ Bullock cart ride and short Tractor ride.
All in all, good experience.

Visited this place last week. Really enjoyed the ambience, surroundings. Great Authentic Heritage feeling. The host and the manager very courteous. They have three blocks having almost sixty beds in each block with a swimming pool in every block. Check in time is 1.00 PM. Pure vegetarian Lunch is served. Evening high tea and then cultural program and again vegetarian buffet dinner. Stay for the night and next day tea and breakfast. And then disperse. All this for 1200/ RS per person.

We were there at 25-12-2020 night stay. Good property. It’s quite inside from the road and way to entrance is not good. But when you reach inside, you feel better. We reached there at 3:30 but still they served us hot lunch in the room. Tasty food. We booked family room with two heaters which kept our room warm. They got various activities like horse riding, camel riding, tractor riding. Inside you can find various birds as they got trees inside. In the night, they have performances, dance and games. Dinner was good. Must try there saraso ka saag and makae ki roti. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful.
They need to improve bathroom as it was leaking and floor always wet inside.

It's was an amazing experience to stay at Virasat Haveli. I visited Amritsar along with two of my friends in August, 2014. I was a bit apprehensive regarding booking this place as it is around 10 kms away from the city. But no worries as they provide you a cab along with the rooms. Mahanidra Xylo A/c was given to us, which picked us from the bus stand in the morning. We were taken to the Haveli first, where we had our breakfast. And what a breakfast...!!! Still can't forget the taste of that finger licking butter along with Stuffed Kulcha. After breakfast we left for the tour of the city. We returned in the night around 8 pm, after visiting Wagah Border. At night, there was a cultural dance program, during which snacks and cold drinks were served. Both veg and non-veg options were available for snacks and dinner. We left next day in the morning and were dropped at the bus stand by same car.
The rooms are simple without much luxuries like TV etc, but are neat and clean. When we returned in the evening, Mr. Narinderjit Singh, owner of this place met us and asked about our stay. I must stay that I never expected this kind of hospitality topped with such amazing food. The whole deal is very economic also as you will be given a car to roam around the city and room plus food. Not even a single paisa is charged for anything you take in Haveli, except for liquor.
And this review will be incomplete without mentioning our driver, Mr. Deepak. A very soft spoken guy, who took us around the city. We were tired roaming around but he was still upbeat about visiting few more places, before halting at our final stop Wagah Border.
Thanks to Mr. Narinderjeet Singh and Mr. Deepak for such an amazing experience. Will surely love to visit again.

Spent 4 nights here and wished it had been longer. Everything was just perfect. Accommodation was great and all the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. There was always something to do be it a walk, swim or just chatting ,tractor rides, Horse ride etc. The whole atmosphere was one of relaxation and contentment. This really is a hidden gem for anyone wanting a diversion from the usual tourist trails. The farms were lush, the food delicious and one could not feel more relaxed and content. Their staff are fantastic, they put their hearts and soul into this place and work very hard to ensure that their guests are happy. They are extremely personable and once feels at home instantly Highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and tranquility alongside a few laughs and good company from fellow guests and staff. A big THANKYOU for the very special time we had at the Virasat Haveli

One of our best holidays, host, Mr. Narenderjit was very helpful, accommodating, and welcoming right from when we started our trip. The haveli is set amidst lush fields. The staff is as hospitable as the owner and all his staff are always willing to help. The food served was always piping hot and very delicious. The host is extremely generous with his home and fields. The farmhouse has cows, horses, goats and camels! Rooms are well maintained and you can enjoy swimming as the farm house has 3 swimming pools. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it!Daman who picked us from station and drove us all over amritsar was exceptionally good and always available as he took us at 3:30am to golden temple after getting a guest at 2am.Each and everyone at Virasat deserves appreciation and i would say five stars and big hotels need to learn from Virasat how to keep customers happy and understand needs.

One of the worst place to stay. Staff are local villagers very rude and have no sense of hospitality whatsoever. I only lasted a night here and wanted to leave the very next day. Would never go back to this place. Very disappointed with their service.

Its an interesting experience of staying in farms. Visited in Feb, it was awesome scenic beauty all around the place.
The food part is great, you have unlimited feast all round the day, with an open kitchen serving you.
In evening there is program of folk dance, enjoy horse ride, tractor ride, to give the real Punjab feel.
When visiting this place, be prepared its an actual village not replica so at places you smell cow dung.
Only miss was during our stay the music was continued till very late, causing disturbance after a point of time.
Overall recommended this place.

In case there is any other review other than 1, it is a paid review or review by friends of the owners themselves.
The staff has been hired from local villages around who have no experience in hospitality. The managers are rude and consider "room service" and "house keeping" as an obligation on room occupants. Their only botheration is to make you check out at the soonest so that the next set of gullible guests can be buffooned inside the property.
The hotel (if we may even call it as one) has a big signboard that says "We are only Charging for Food. The Rooms provided to You are Complimentary".
The property is merely luring people in the name of a very less tariff of a Thousand Bucks per Head (which includes anyone above the age of 2 years), which in hindsight will come up to 4,000 per family per room. Anyone could get a decent 3 Star property in Amritsar for this price incl breakfast buffet.
Hygeine is a concept alien to them. Water from the washrooms stinks. Flies can be found in the buffet food. Mosquitoes are in aplenty because of the fields around.
The only saving grace can be the Evening Cultural Performance called "Gatka - A War Dance of Punjabis) and the free rides on camels, horses or tractors for kids.
NRIs and People from other states may feel excited to visit the property because of rare similar properties in Punjab and proximity to Amritsar. This property is surely a "misnomer" to the Grand concept called "Punjabi Hospitality"

yes they do
Hi guest,
You can ask for pics of rooms and toilets at our whatsapp number 0 9779783434.
Thanks
You need to first get in touch with the authorities since most of the time it is already booked, so you might not get the required number of rooms.
Moreover accommodating 100 persons at one time may be a challenge since they just have 10 rooms though rooms are quite spacious that can easily accommodate 4-5 persons at one time.
Due to time issue we didnt go wagha border, the harmainder sahib is less then 20-30 minutes drive.
Dear sir,
you can come for dinner and dance show from 8pm to 11pm.
please call 9872713434, to book a table, as sometimes on weekends its very busy.
Thanks
Narinderjit
