Hotel Grace is just a few minutes walking distance from The world famous Golden Temple. The service is good and the staff welcomed us well. The check in and check out were smooth. Staff was very polite and nice. The best part of the stay was proximity to the Golden Temple and market around.
One of the finest and best hotel in Amritsar hardly 2 mins walk for Golden Temple almost 9-10 mins walk for Jallianwala Baug staff is good service is good. Hot water available ... Good Birthday gift given by hotel. At last best hotel in Amritsar
With only a few minutes walk from the Golden Temple and with such affordable prices, I would highly recommend this hotel. The owner is very diligent, caring and will happily answer your questions and help you get around the city. It seems to be a family hotel and as a single woman, it felt completely safe; owner gave me good advices to stay safe while being out. The hotel is quite old so the rooms are a bit worned out, but they are cleaned well enough and very quiet. Anyways for such a great price you won't get any better. They also provide locker room to keep luggages after checkout if needed. There are many options to eat nearby. I would recommend taking a walk through the garden and go try satpura at Beera samosa valla nearby. Also just next to the hotel is a small daba serving very good Amritsari kulche.…
Good service and great welcomed Well painted rooms are available in the hotel grace. We checked in hotel with family And the behavior of hotel owner and staff was so good I recommend this hotel to others
Nice and decent painted walls Clean and hygienic ambiance Very close to golden temple Friendly staff And cooperative owner Highly recommendable for visitors who are from distant places. Best place for foreigners.
I've stayed at Grace hotel for 3 nights with 2 friends...and its a great place to stay ! There are many accommodation types in town, but if u need stg for a good price, with great location, not in a noisy areavery clean, and in a friendly environment its highly recommended. The owner Harry has been very helpful ,giving us advice ....the shower is AMAZING...very warm - when you backpack you d love that eheh!the room has been recently painted too...
Shabby Rooms , Impolite Staff and the Manager is a big time Pain in @ss He is very improfessional and arrogant Hardly they clean rooms. No Room Service. No towels no Soap. Toilet stinks. Just the Owner is a Good Man and talks well.
Budget hotel in a good location close to golden temple. However would not recommend staying here as the room was damp and mouldy and the walls were crumbling. Luckily only stayed one night which was only just bearable because we had liners to sleep in.
While visiting Amritsar in India I would highly recommended staying at Grace Hotel. Not only is it centered immediately by the golden temple and all the bazaars and markets but the rooms there are really clean and comfortable with AC. Another reason to stay here is the staff and owner are amazing people who tirelessly will go out of there way to help you with anything you may need. Again and again this proved to be the case. When we needed a taxi at 4:30 am the owner booked it himself. When we needed directions somewhere the helped us. Even when I lost a precious instrument by leaving it on a bus upon arriving in Amritsar I was so upset and once again the owner himself (Harry) got on the phone, tracked down the correct bus, got someone on the line, and then personally drove me down across town to pick it up. I was so amazed and grateful and it was all due to Harry’s generosity. The hotel itself was established a decade and half ago by Harry’s father, a former businessman and Indian Politician who still hangs out here with his son in this beautiful place that he helped create.…
I have read other reviews commenting on cleanliness etc. For myself I review in the context if it being a very inexpensive stay close to the temple. I paid just Rs.900 for a fan room. It was spacious, scruffy accepted, however I had a towel provided and the water heater worked. Just so close to the main temple entrance it's location is tough to beat.
