Savana. The very name evokes the sight of never ending greenery. And that is exactly what this quaint, Eco-friendly resort offers. A relaxing getaway that brings you closer to the calm and quiet of nature while giving you all possible comforts. With the Sahyadris standing majestically on one hand and the sparkling Waldevi River backwaters gently lapping on the other, Savana is a haven like no other. The 16 acres of lush green landscapes, dense woods and rolling lawns create for you a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the daily, mundane life. A perfect blend of the simple pleasures that nature offers and modern day conveniences, it promises a stay that's luxurious and yet enriched with experience. It is a place you'd not only love, but would love to come back to again and again

One of the best lake touching location, peaceful , very well maintained rooms as well as the property , pets allowed, ample open space for outdoor games , comfortable rooms , though limited spread of buffet, all dishes very well made , very courteous friendly and helpful staff, good swimming pool , they have boating facility which normally remains closed during rainy season but this time it was not on as they had not received permission for the same as the lake was still almost full . No WiFi provided with a tagline saying connect with nature .. Just carry mosquito protection if u want to roam around after evening time . They even cleaned my car on request . Though price a bit on higher side , 100% recommended for family outing and one who wants to fully relax amidst nature .... Worth it !!

Let me start with the positives 1.absolutely stunning location 2.housekeeping boys are well mannered and polite And that's where the good things come to an end
Few of the not so good things 1.level of hygiene, cleanliness is poor to the core For eg: the bedsheets were stained, coffee cups were not cleaned, pillow covers were stained/torn We had to get both of our rooms cleaned again thereby wasting our time and spoiling our experience 2.Deluxe suite, suite rooms look dingy and dark,u get more of a lodge feeling rather than resort, cottage rooms are the best of the lot(without the stains ofcourse). 3.We asked for change of room as there was a massive stain on the couch which we discovered upon checking in to which front desk guy mr.mahendra said that the stain has been there for ages(haha guess he's proud of it)and since we had checked in he won't change our room.it was only after Mr mani(GM) intervened our rooms were changed... 4.Instead of apologising for what happened Mr mahendra had the audacity to argue during that he had hinted about the cleanliness of the rooms as a big family (of a particular community) had vacated...I mean really?? Instead this guy offers a discount assuming it would makes us swallow the negatives(which we politely refused). To top it he's arguing stating that these complaints werent brought to his notice by the GM and that none of the other guests had any issues. What happened to saying "Sorry sir we'll take your feedback positively and moving on" but no looks like these guys arent trained well enough or are too egoistic to apologise or are least bothered about customer service. 5.food taste is subjective however our collective opinion was that indian options were decent(dal rice etc) however Chinese food was an absolute let down 6.We were assured of dosa counter at the time of booking however at the breakfast table we were told they can't make dosa for 1-2 PPL.. however idli and sabudana khichdi were decent but not enough to let go of the disappointment of not having a dosa counter 7.when we arrived at the resort aka lodge gate the security dials the front desk for confirmation but that took a while since they didn't pick this guys phone..I mean really??2 families were staying ,how hard is it to print our names and inform the security guys prior to our arrival...we wasted almost 15 mins in the melee and that too after a tiring 4.5 hrs drive.. Overall our stay was ok thanks to the breathtaking views Looks like the management is least bothered about cleanliness, hygiene, guest feedback and instead of taking it constructively they believe we're doing this for some petty discount.
All in all Absolutely not recommended for people who're expecting resort experience, choose aria, soma, sula instead. Its ok for for people who're not too picky about the hygiene factor..and are there only to enjoy the views..

I had very bad experience. It is not a resort but a dharmshala at an excellent location. The mindset of all the staff is also like a dharmshala whether it is reception manager, room service guys or restaurant team. The quality of toiletries, towels, cups / glasses in the room everything is horrible. The quality & variety of the food is equally disaster. Overall I would recommend to stay away for this hotel

We were here for 2 N /3 D. We had booked 3 suite rooms. The property is amazing for following reasons 1. breathtaking views 2. huge open spaces for kids to run 3. lawn areas to sit and ejoy picnic's 4. super polite and co-operative staff Sandeep, Sunil, Shaikh and the Chef all were were nice 5. Delicious food
Rooms are well kept and in good condition. Check in was smooth and handled by Mr Mahendra (very gentle and polite person)
We were in group and hence other than breakfast we ordered ala carte all times and were not disappointed. Punjabi, Chinese menu is decent. They do not have pizza/ continental etc. but whatever they serve it tastes nice. There is no wifi provided in the hotel; Vodafone, JIO networks worked well on mobile. This property does not serve alcohol though you can carry your own and consume in room (not allowed in restaurant) The drive from Mumbai is pretty straight forward; certain patches on highway have potholes but you will still reach in 4-5 hours with a small break. Once you turn for the resort into the rural roads google maps does not work very accurately and resort has not put too many signages so better keep asking locals for guidance. Overall we were super delighted with our stay and amenities. they have a nice play area for kids with swings, slides etc. Pool is working though you need to book your slot in advance. We did not step out of the property but a visit to sula wineyard is possible. We are have made plans to visit again!!

Savana Lake Resort offers a truly exceptional getaway experience. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, the resort provides an ideal blend of nature and luxury. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities that ensure a relaxing stay. The resort’s staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make sure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.
The highlight of our stay was the stunning lake view, which can be enjoyed from various spots around the resort. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the water, explore nature trails, or indulge in delicious meals at the on-site restaurant, Savana Lake Resort has something for everyone. The peaceful ambiance and variety of recreational activities make it perfect for both couples and families.
Overall, our stay at Savana Lake Resort was memorable, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and beautiful surroundings.

We visited Savana resort for our anniversary and stayed for 2 days.
When we entered we were mesmerized by the beauty of the place. The location is just what we wanted to unwind from our hectic city life. The view of the lake and mountains from our room was beautiful. The untimely rains just added to the beauty of the place.
The lawns are well kept and the view is just wow. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The only problem were the electrical sockets.
The service is prompt and the staff is extremely courteous. From the dining staff to the housekeeping all are very helpful.
Special thanks to Mani for the arrangements of a candle light dinner on a short notice.
The food is very tasty but a bit overpriced. You don't get a lavish spread like a 4 or 5 star but the quality and taste compensates for it.
They have a number of games in house that can help you spend your time well.
If you're looking for a place where you can just relax and do nothing else, this is the one.
