We share the 4 bed Bungalow and were taken back by the location, views and beautiful bathrooms, balconies and room sizes. The large common room was big enough to have a great night together. Despite the TV being on the blink, we soon filled up our evening chatting and messing about. Th grounds are very well maintained and despite the very long driveway in from the main road, there are plenty of trekking routes to explore the surrounding rocks, plantations etc and soak in the Keralian sunrises and sunsets. Whilst the kitchen staff were very laxed with their delivery of food (needs vast improvements), the staff in general were very helpful and cannot be faulted. Extremely good value for money and definitely a place to pick to unwind or explore. I believe there is another bungalow on site to stay at and appears to be a smaller version of the main bungalow. After chatting with the owner, she was extremely well versed about the history of the resort and surrounding plantations. Not to be missed.

The resort is absolutely a gem, well maintained, neat and clean. The location in the middle of dense forest with lush green surroundings & clean air makes it highly refreshing and stress relieving. The spacious rooms with antique furniture & variety of flowers all around in the resort spread over area of about 10 acres with hiking trail made us feel like in a national conservation park and that too at a much low cost. The restaurant of the resort is a class in its self, the staff is highly dedicated, & food is of good quality and hygienic. Since a little narrow forestry but motor able trail leads to the resort from the main highway of Munnar for a distance of about 3-4 kms, the owner on our request sent the driver to escort our car to the property. However once you have seen the track you can easily drive to the resort. To sum up our stay has become a lifelong memory and we would definitely like to stay here again when we plan next time to visit Munnar. Dr A. K. Gupta (New Delhi )

If you are a person who wanna loose yourself amidst the woods, this is the one for you. The stay was was very comfortable with utmost privacy and beautiful interiors. The food was custom made where they give u choices and was well made. The service was great too. You can have a beautiful morning walk around the resort and the it is placed in such a way that there is no disturbance of public. You can just hear the chirping of birds all the while. The resort is located in a huge and green plantation and the vastness adds to the fresh air and greenery to rejuvenate you. However, the resort requires you to drive through some very bad roads with no eateries or restaurants nearby. Which means you are forced to depend on the restaurant inside. With the room tariff only inclusive of the breakfast, you would need to shell out extra money for lunch (which costs Rs. 550/- per head), snacks and dinner. Which overall works out to be overpriced for the resort. However, we had a nice stay since its an isolated place with wonderful weather and lovely greenery with streams and birdcalls. The staff was really attentive, always a call away and very helpful. We tore one of our car tyres on the way down and hence would again focus on the access roads to the resort, they need immediate attention and repair.

I have visited Neelakurinji resort with my family based upon our 10th wedding anniversary and we stayed on 5th May.
The location is so amazing , were location is away from the cities crowd and there was no disturbances and it was too family oriented atmosphere .
The staffs are especially very cooperative and good in manners to each guest and ensure every one is enjoyed the stay with safer side.
In point of view Road was a semi off road, since it is inside a Cardamom estate and creates a feeling we are entering into forest and my kids enjoyed the travel.
The architect of the buildings soo eco friendly and summer time night temperature is nearly 16 degree and day weather was very chilled .
Even the day time, my family walked inside rhe plantation and they get a better feeling than our previous outing.
If any one planning to visit Neelakurinji should reach the location by Lunch and so day weather can be enjoyed.

Hello My Name is Rohan , Iam a passionate Rider and we keep traveling exploring new places, I have travelled all around India. This is my second time staying at the Neelakurinji resort Munnar and its one of the best Property I have visited, First time I had travelled with my biking friends and had stayed in the 2 bedroom Cardamom cottage and loved it, its a Private cottage with good living room and super sit out the Rooms were excellent and nothing less then a 4 star hotel. The route to the property is the best and the estate is beautiful, its got a beautiful stream and the no of trees , Birds who will wake you up every morning wow ....its a paradise for nature lovers. I was so impressed that for the New Year’s Eve I got my family and three family friends, this time we took the Four bedroom clove cottage we had a blast stayed for three nights and never wanted to leave this property. The property owner specially Suja are the best host you could have , they are very warm and know how to treat the guests, right from the booking , Special request everything I should say the hospitality was excellent. I have to mention about the staff Ebin specially, will never say NO and with a smiling face will accommodate all the requests. We were travelling with a 10 months old baby and the baby food what was prepared was also very good not sure if any 5 star hotel can match it. In this pandemic situation this is the best place we could find and we want to come back again and again. Thanks a lot Suja you have been a super host and we really appreciate you in accommodating all our special instructions on the Food specially. This is a very beautiful resort on a cardamom plantation in the southern Ghats. It's a perfect place to escape for beautiful nature and a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended. The place is further away from Munnar than we expected. Although the roads leading to it are a bit tough, the staff was extremely helpful making sure we made it there (and even helped us get around a festival that was blocking the road at night when we were trying to get there). The rooms are nice and spacious and comfortable. (We had a small problem when we arrived where the room they placed us in had a strong smell of mildew. The staff onsite and the owner were very helpful in moving us to another room.) The food was very good and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was great for us. This is a perfect getaway spot in a beautiful location.

If I was rich enough to buy this property,without negotiation I would have agreed for a price Suja asks for her property..That's how they have built it and maintains it.
We were a group of 8 people with 2 infants and we opted the 4 bedroom cottage (a massive,spacious home). The aesthetics of the cottage is excellent, that it blends well with the calmness of the surroundings.
Surroundings: 5/5 Lush greenery all around. The cottage is in the midst of Cardamom plantation and we were amazed at the misty morning view from the balcony. The serene environment was a treat to our Corona babies and they were amused by the chirping of birdies.There is a view point and a small river running through the property which is at a short walk.
Food: 5/5 Food is really good with staffs ready to accommodate our needs too. The Tea served is so tasty that one would drink a couple of cups of Tea in a go.
Cleanliness: 5/5 The cottage is very neat and tidy. The rooms were well ventilated. Washroom had hot water supply round the clock. Toiletries were provided too.
Hospitality: 5/5 The resort staff were in touch with us from the time we started our journey from home. The person ensured we followed the correct route to reach our destination. In addition, Suja was keen in checking if everything was okay during our stay and she had a very friendly approach.
Special arrangements: Suja was more than happy to arrange a Candle light dinner for the newly married couple in our group along with a Cake cutting ceremony.
Overall we had an amazing staycation and pleasant experience. I would love to visit Neelakurinji resort again.

It is a beautiful property located in secluded area away from the hustle and bustle of city life amid nature's heaven. It is located near to Chinnakanal(Idukki district) which is supposed to be the most beautiful and preferred place in Munnar. Neelakurunji luxury plantation is a speciality lodge which hosts resorts in the lap of nature among cardamom plantation. It may not be for those who prefer to stay in business hotels with all the facilities. It is a small property with two types of speciality rooms 1. Clove 2. Cardamom (each room is special in its own way) facing cardamom plantation. Food is good(no buffet) with limited options. But it will surely tickle your taste buds. Good hospitality with friendly staff with special mention to the manager Jiyash and Akhil for their personal care. Drive to the resort itself is exciting as it's located near a cliff and have to drive through the rough road in the middle of nature. Difficult terrain especially driving in night. It's completely detached from the busy area with no network coverage. So make sure you carry everything. Prefer to drive in your own vehicle as it's away from the town. Resort provides cab service on request. The best part of this property is the scenic location. Thanks to Suja and their team for the wonderful stay and personal care.

Neelakuriji is a place where the stay is worth each penny you spend. The climate, the nature, the beauty everything is at its best.
The stay, food, ambience everything was so perfect that it made our stay meaningful.
A big thanks for Ms Suja for ensuring the safety of all guests at this pandemic as she was particular with the vaccination and covid negative certificates.
A few recomendations would be to ensure proper wifi connectivity and to include few activities for kids or a play area.
