The resort is probably the best place to stay in Munnar. The upkeep of the resort is simply fantastic.very courteous and committed staff and really delicious food. Well maintained property and rooms and this resort will provide you the much needed break which one is looking for. Strongly recommending Black Forest

We weren’t expecting much coming here because it was rated as a 3 star in our tour package, but it really exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent, and several staff members spoke good English. The view from our room was fantastic, and we even had monkeys come visit us on our balcony. The breakfast buffet was good and changed each day. Also there was a dinner buffet on our second day that was very well priced. I would recommend this place if you want peace and quiet and a great view of nature.

The hotel is around 15 Kms before Munnar. It is a good property with cordial staff. Food is also good. Rooms are spacious. One can directly go to munnar and after completing their sight seeing come to hotel to retire. Good for a one day trip. If anyone is having more than one night's stay then travelling to munnar will be a tedious task.

Best resort .... The staff were also very helpful and hospitable throughout our week stay. Samson, helped us with the event and he was superb as was all the staff supporting and making a way for this event to take place. Would definite this location for any (local or extra-local) looking for a retreat area.

We stayed this property during 7-8th October, 2019. Location is nice, near waterfall, enjoyable. But the rooms are terrible. No room is upto the standard as claimed. They changed our first room but next is also same. They had a beautiful food menu in each room but they force you to have buffet dinner with fixed menu & cost. Even you do not like, you are bound to as no restaurant or hotel available nearby areas.

I booked using search engine i found it Gogeo Holidays past 6months i'm planning to go kerala trip at last everything from gogeo did that dream, to be the best. "Hotel Black Forest" - Munnar service & food was awesome , Ajith Driver Behaviour and helping nature & caring a lot , Sharika & Ranjitha coordinate this trip was really good , Hotel accommodation & Food are Really Good, management was really awesome if we said any mistakes about food they corrected it , very thanks to "Aravind Team & 👨🍳Chef" - " Black Forest Munnar"

Rooms and services of hotel are good and are same as per pictures on web.. only draw back is location..It is not in Munnar but 18 kms away from town..even they have no any facility of local transportation and it has to be arranged on …

On 3 days Munnar trip we stayed in blanket hotel camelia rooms with warer fall view. Location of hotel amazing with valley on back side with beautiful water fall. Warm welcome at reception with speedy services. Kind whole staff. Very good food and location of restaurant with stunning valley view.Live south indian dishes are best. We did morning walk at fall side and it wad great with beautiful weather like walking in clouds. We are scared by roads to reach hotel in night because of sharp turns and narrow roads but it feels adventurous. We enjoyed night programs arranged by hotel. I suggest this hotel to visit ones in life time. I like to go second tome there.
