We have been to this resort for our Family Reunion on May13,14 & 15-2022. Its located in an undisturbed location beautifully surrounded by greenery . It is just 5 kmts from Munnar and has calm environment. The food was so good and the service was also fantastic. - Thanks to the management
We have stayed in this resort multiple times and the view and the quality of service remains undoubtedly amazing every single time . The staffs are so friendly and rooms are super comfortable and immaculate. During the recent visit , even when we were little apprehensive about the entire COVID-19 situation , the staff made it super relaxing by ensuring all the safety precautions are taken well in advance. Thanks to the entire Spring dale team for an 'home away from home feels' on every single visit. Mark us as a permanent visitors in your books . See you soon.
Paid visit to spring dale on October 16th along with family.....nice clam place to stay ....we took rooms in the antique block. It is an old bangalow converted into hotel rooms...they do have new version rooms also...have beautiful garden planted with varieties of plants and full in bloom. Owner itself made the service arrangements. Good for family stay and food was low profile good one....
We all lined up in this place on 23rd and 24th Nov to celebrate our post Corona family get together. Had chosen 3 suite rooms on 1st floor which was having very good scenic view of tea estates & mountain. Spent two days and one night. At night they arranged a camp fire dinner in the garden area and was really amazing and unforgettable. Resort place is fully covered with greenery...trees, plants, flowers....very peaceful atmosphere...really enjoyed. Overall it was a wonderful stay
Self was there at the resort with my family with a Pre-booking done before arrival. The rooms were not in healthy and hygienic condition. There is hardly any variety in the menu.Food is also not that tasty. The staff disturbs you for checking booking details in your emails like...whether breakfast is included in the booking or not instead of referring their own system. The kitchen is also not hygienic. cleanliness is also not up to the mark.Reception is most of the time remains empty. so overall not a pleasant stay at all. would not recommend for stay with family. I booked this hotel through OYO rooms and settled with a deluxe rooms which has fantastic view and individual balcony. when i arrived in the hotel and showed my reservation to the staff he politely said he can't allocate the deluxe room for the price i got, instead he can only allocate me a ordinary room for the same price. when asked for the reason the staff said they have some problems with OYO business dealings. The staff said either i take the ordinary room or i pay more for the room i booked or otherwise i have to find another hotels. it was impossible for me to find another room that night that too far from the town and at last i had no choice to stay in the ordinary room. i was totally disappointed with the check-in process. next the Wi-Fi is not great as its available only near reception area. the service is average and cleanliness is also average as i found the table i ate dinner is not cleaned up till in the morning. hotel location is fantastic with lots of trees around and the hotel has a seperate garden and camp fire area beside the hotel. I kindly ask the travellers who book online to call the hotel before and be sure the room they booked. Parking the vehicle is bit uneasy as the space available is very less. …
I visited this resort on 13th May 2018.This is my 2nd visit my first visit was pleasant and service and food was good but my current experience with this resort is not good .The quality of food and service is pathetic they never served food on time, iwould suggest you to have food outside rather than having their food. No Wi-Fi available only pros I can share about them is the ambience and rooms are well maintained
We had gone to munnar with family for holidays . One of the best resorts. Staff was too good and supportive. Lovely food . Rooms were clean and maintained well. Lovely swimming pool in which my children enjoyed very much. Great and memorable stay . Would like to visit again.
The resort is in Devikulam which is 20 mins away from the crowded city of Munnar. The resort is a heritage property. Although it needs some renovation but it is clean and decent for a few nights. The food option is limited and have to pre order. Pepper chicken, idly and sambar is very good. The resort is managed by Mr. Raja who is very accommodating and make sure the guests are happy. We were a group of 15 and stayed for 2 nights in the last week of October 2017. Around the property there is a SBI ATM and good places for morning walk. There is a Devi temple and a tea garden which is splendid. There is a another resort nearby Las Palmas where we had gone for lunch on the day we arrived. It serves good food too. It is 5 hrs from Kochi because of the winding roads. Nearby spots are Top Station,Rose Garden, Boating,Dreamland Fun Park,Matupetty dam.…
The owners live next door and perhaps read the reviews as i have noted changes with respect to earlier negative reviews. I tick off on all the lovely descriptions by earlier reviewers. And add that both, the tea and coffee, taste out of this world. Wish i could say the same for the food, whether pakodas or dinner (they do not offer lunch). Our driver certified the idlis as being great and the sambhar so-so.The bathrooms were clean, hot water was not easily available. Bedrooms are clean, linen white and clean. Windows closed and curtained. A bell rings every hour, announcing time. Church bell from 6 am to 9 pm? Perhaps. Some other messages follow in the voice of a lady speaking English, but the high volume makes it impossible to hear clearly. If this bell were to go silent, one might happily ignore the pretentious cook's laziness served sincerely by Raja & team, and not notice that it is time to check-out. There is a quaintness about Devikulam and Springdale Resort that manages to leave time suspended beyond the green mountains. An old-world feel. Perhaps an ancient world feel of Sita having bathed in a pond here. Sadly, now this pond is the private property of local tea magnates and not allowed for the hoi polloi to even gaze on it, said helpful Raja.…
