We stayed there two night. staff were friendly and helpful. Place was very calm and quit. It is around 9 KM from Munnar town. Road from munnar to Resort was also very good.
Food was very nice and with decent price. Would like to stay there if I visit Munnar again.
We stayed in Delux room. It got a bed room with a small dining hall and attached bathroom
And one more thing, They got a good garden with full of flowers. :)

We stayed here for 2 days towards the end of our Kerala Trip.
Pros:
- Mattresses were very soft with clean bedsheets and curtain.
- Bathroom was clean with a big basin, ample hot water all day.
- Very quiet and peaceful, away from the city hustle bustle.
- Beautiful botanical garden with pretty flowers
- Big spacious rooms with a nice view of the hillside and sunlight streaming through the English windows
- Good architecture.
Cons:
- Wooden floors were covered with mats to hide chipped and eaten away floors. It might have been pretty at some point of time but it needs maintenance and repair.
- Room 201 had damp on one side of the wall facing the bed.
- Menu was extensive but nothing was available.
- Service was NON EXISTENT and we had to provide repeated reminders for every little detail including asking for toiletries, drinking water etc.
- No trash bin was provided and we had to remind them to provide for one at least half a dozen times.
- Beware, this place has no connectivity. So be prepared to be cut off from the rest of the world. The main city is 8 kms away.
We liked the rooms but we will deduct rating for lack of service, connectivity and maintenance.

We all lined up in this place on 23rd and 24th Nov to celebrate our post Corona family get together. Had chosen 3 suite rooms on 1st floor which was having very good scenic view of tea estates & mountain. Spent two days and one night. At night they arranged a camp fire dinner in the garden area and was really amazing and unforgettable. Resort place is fully covered with greenery...trees, plants, flowers....very peaceful atmosphere...really enjoyed. Overall it was a wonderful stay

We have stayed in this resort multiple times and the view and the quality of service remains undoubtedly amazing every single time . The staffs are so friendly and rooms are super comfortable and immaculate.
During the recent visit , even when we were little apprehensive about the entire COVID-19 situation , the staff made it super relaxing by ensuring all the safety precautions are taken well in advance.
Thanks to the entire Spring dale team for an 'home away from home feels' on every single visit. Mark us as a permanent visitors in your books . See you soon.

We stayed in this resort 2 years ago to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. It was her who compelled us to visit this time. It was worth the money. They made so many changes, the garden looked beautiful , they added spool. Amal , the manager was very helpful to organize my son's birthday party . The whole family had a good time.

My family visited for this place for the 3rd time after 2 previous lovely stay here. But they had a horrible experience this time.
Cons: A basic guest house. Dirty bed linens. Smelly pillows. Arrogant, insulting and threatening owners. Invisible staff. Frugal food. Pictures are deceiving.
Pros: Clean bathroom.
Please AVOID. Tripadvisor has other lovely places listed for munnar.

There is nothing good about this resort except for the location. The rooms are so dirty and there are no staff available to clean the room. The food served is very mediocre and we are made to wait atleast for 2 hrs before we are served that. We were shocked to know that they cook food in bulk amounts in the resort' s kitchen and sell it elsewhere called" food on wheels".But the resorts's guests are served lousy food in addition to a long exhausting wait.it becomes especially difficult when we travel with kids. The resort is in a remote place and we have to rely on them for food especially Dinner.I had only asked them for a glass of milk for my child and they send it 2.5 hours later despite several reminders!!!
The biggest problem is the owner' s indifferent and unapologetic attitude towards these problems. His only motive is to make money.Everybody in the hotel was complaining about the very poor service, rude staff and absolutely filthy rooms and someone even left the hotel halfway through. But nothing made any difference to the owner.
His only answer is that there are no staff in the resort.I just have one question sir."why do you run a resort with no staff that too during peak season".?
Dont be fooled by the pictures of the resort. However good the resort is ,all the best rooms are locked( looks like reserved for VIP).We had booked a deluxe cottage looking at the pictures. Our dreams were shattered the moment we entered the stinking rooms with absolutely no maintenance.we payed a bomb compared to the room and service.Absolute waste of money.Dormitories are better maintained.
Munnar is a great place to visit and Devikulam is the cheapest and best place to stay closest to Munnar but would recommend home stays.
Dont ever stay in Springdale resort. The owner really needs to be taught a lesson. He just cannot take things for granted. His only motive is to loot money from unsuspecting people like us.We should not be wasting our hard earned money on this worthlessness of a resort.
