Ecotones is a boutique resort with nine rooms, including cottages, mud-houses and premium rooms. We focus on eco-tourism and activities such as cycling, trekking, guided nature walks, village walks, guided spice plantation trails, bird watching and more. Other off-beat activities include interacting with local farmers and local school students and other forms of community-involvement. We serve traditional and ethnic cuisine, highlighting the mind-boggling hillside cuisine of the High Ranges. So prepare to be swept off your feet, enthralled and excited with us at Ecotones!

Amazing how quickly the area has recovered. A few bumpy roads but hey it's India. A peaceful and beautiful resort away from the Hurley burley. The staff are amazingly helpful and kind. The manager Karthik went the extra mile and went to the extent of going to the next town to

Spacious cottage, adorable staff and delicious food. Don’t miss the guided walk with the locals to discover the authentic little village nearby and fresh spices along the way. Although Kerala terribly suffered from the floods in 2018 but since, they have recovered and you won’t

The accommodation is generous with lovely views. The staff could not do more for us - they looked after us very well - but it is a simple place in a fairly remote area- perfect to get away for a few days and enjoy some lovely walks in peace and quiet (apart from the noises of

This is just a wonderful slice of peace and calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Munnar tea country. Add the name implies, everything he is done with conservation in mind. No plastic bottles and frills are at a minimum. This does not however detract in anyway from a

We stayed just one night, sadly. We arrived after a long cycle ride to be met by friendly and welcoming staff to this haven of a boutique hotel set in the lush hilltops just outside Munnar. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with gorgeous views from our

Dear Guest, Greetings... Thanks for the review... Yes, lots of cyclers are selecting ecotones because of its location and it comes in the favourite cycling route to Munnar. We are glad that you had a selection of vegetarian cuisine as well. Most of the vegetables are from our own farm and we do not use any chemicals/pesticides/fertilisers. Looking forward to see you back in Ecotones.

if it isn't already to late for an answer. go there and follow the activities. there's a spice and herbal tour in the evening and sunrise tour which both lasts almost two hours. on plus if it's not to dry you can also choose the 5 hour hiking tour up to the nearby mountain or rent a bike and explore the area by yourself. if you just want to relax, then nothing else is needed except for being there ;) I wish you a as much pleasant stay as I had!

Hello Daniel! Glad to know you're considering staying with us. If you three are planning to stay in one room, you might find the Superior Cottage the best and most spacious, considering you are three adults. While the Premium Room will work too, it will be slightly cramped. The mud houses and luxury cottage would not work too well in this case. But another possibility is booking two rooms which will then of course solve the space issues altogether. Hope to see you all at Ecotones soon!
