Me and my friends visited munnar, a lovely and beautiful place, we done trekking in kolukkumalai it was a mind blowing adventure we had.We booked a room in issac residency hotel munnar, we checked in at around evening 10 pm we was very tired but... When when we stepped in, the service staffs helped us to do all the procedures, we got room services done even at check out all staffs were very helpful. Surely we will visit once again.

I have been to many hotels in Munnar, Idukki and Ooty. Most of the times the price is very high for the view (which is not something you acquire) but usual issues include access to basic facilities, booze and much more. If you are looking for a stay and not really worried about how your post would look on FB this is your best choice.
They renovated the hotel and it is top class - trust me.
They have a bar - regular bar price
And the view from the window is really good in the morning
Since you are in the city , finding nice food at a cheaper price won’t be an issue.
Cost was the best part.
We took 2 rooms and it costed us 5000. Compared to another resort that wanted 16000 this is waaaay better.
So don’t ever think you are losing your money this is worth every penny!!
+the reception staff are good too!

Nicely presented and well organised hotel. Helpful front desk. Good sized and modern rooms with soundproofing from street noise. Location suitable for exploring the town on foot and organising tours of the countryside attractions. Food variable in portion size and quality, but was mostly tasty. Restaurant staff extremely friendly, we enjoyed chatting to a waiter who was obviously highly motivated in pursuing a career in hospitality (I'm sorry Portugal didn't win the world cup!). I would highly recommend staying here. Small negatives: Tanoy music in the corridors was too loud & could be heard in the rooms (but it was turned down when we asked); The outside light by the window shone through the curtains; The tiled corridors look great, but are very noisy if someone checks in at 1.30am

We came for a honeymoon stay, the rooms were perfectly decorated and candle night dinner was arranged. Totally amazing experience, best place to stay, best food and quite friendly staff. Full privacy and best suggestions and advices given by staff for travelling and other options. Totally clean and tidy rooms. One of the best travel expreience. Special thanks to manager Mr.Mathew for guiding us.

Great place to stay in Munnar which is at par with many International Hotel chains. The staff are courteous and hospitable . The food choice is limited but by far one of the best In Munnar. This place also has a Bar attached. In house facilities like room service, Laundry is quick and efficient. The Breakfast has a variety of mostly Vegetarian options which are something to look forward to start your day. Location is ideal, just away from the hustle & bustle of down town. The Views from some rooms are beautiful to wakup to in the morning. Ask for the Mountain View in front. Overall very happy with my 1 week stay at Issac’s Residency.

Location at city centre but far away from important points in Munnar. Hotel/ room very neat and clean. Food at Three Rivers restaurant very average. Staff very slow to operate. Pre-booking dinner in package is a loss as they have mixed menu. Restaurant manager very rude. Except on cleanliness, no advantage of this hotel. Prices are also high.

Stayed in issac residency for two days ,had good stay ,view from issac residency is so good ,food services are excellent. rooms are sanitized .town is near we can access near by shops, bank atm ,bus stand all are near . Front office staffs keerthana and angel helped us a lot ..special thanks...

We had a non refundable booking at Isaacs Residency hotel, but we couldn’t arrive to Munnar for the weather condition. The hotel let us cancel the reservation without making any charge. We’re very grateful for the attention! I hope we could return to Munnar soon!

We came in for lunch on our way through Munnar at the recommendation of our guide. Not only do they serve beer etc, but fabulous food and a great choice. A lot of less spicy options for western taste, I absolutely loved the prawn tempura. Lunch for 3 with beer just over £20!

As a westerner, fantastic staff really good vibe and very fun time with all the workers here.. highly recommend. Good food and lovely beers for all. Fantastic few from this very restaurant which you can stand outside and overlook the town of Munnar
