Visited Rose Gardens Homestay all the way from Kolkata for Christmas vacation.Amazed by the reception given by the owners(run by a family) of the Rose Gardens Homestay.Spent four days there.Home cooked delicious food is always available. The owners were very warm and helpful throughout the stay.Loved the nursery with lots of different flowers and fruits sprouting in their garden.Hygiene maintained is top level. If someone needs peace and quiet atmosphere to stay in Munnar, this is the place.

We spent two nights here in the the Rose Garden Homestay. The family could not have been more helpful and welcoming and the breakfast and dinners were magnificent. We did two wonderful walks from here - one starting from the homestay and walking down to a village in the valley and back. The other, we were dropped to the starting point some 10Km away and then walked along a spectacular route through tea plantations all the way back to Munnar - one of the highlights of our trip. The first night, we stayed in a room opening on to the front and very near the main road, we were not overly impressed with this. I would definitely stay here again but would request a room overlooking their beautiful gardens at the back.
