We stayed for 3 nights in Tea County Munnar. We stayed in Room A1. Probably it is one of the best stays on our 13-day Kerala trip. The room was sprawling and adorned with retro classical furniture. The attached balcony overlooked lush green tea plantations and luxuriant hills. Along with a lavish room, the behavior of the staff is impeccably good. They are super professional, yet extremely cordial. The front office and the restaurant staff were helpful and very polite. They help us select varieties of local delicacies and each dish was cooked to perfection. Special mention may be made of Dilip- the manager at the reception who guided us on everything. Greeting us with a smile always, Dilip helped us decide on our local tours, shopping places, and cultural show venues. It was a wonderful stay and we came back with a bagfull of lovely memories.…
Really good service with very supportive staff. The building/ room could have been renovated as buildings look to be aged. Also it would have been nice if they provide facilities for some leisure activities
Great experience. Most beautiful surroundings of all KTDC properties we have visited. Very well maintained gardens. Fabulous collection of flora, rooms are clean, lovely birds visit the place in the morning, especially the whistling bird. However food needs to be improved , every item is a little too sweet ,which if avoided will make food more relishing. Staff is cordial.
Very quaint property tucked by the hillsides. The view is breathtaking (literally, too). The staff , the chef and all staff alike have been nothing but warm and welcoming. The concierge was helpful with sightseeing bookings too. There's flowers and beautiful weather and all things Munnar. Reasonably priced delicious Buffet. Immaculately maintained property. Highly recommend. A pamphlet with with approximate prices of different activities and sight seeing tours will be helpful for the tourists.

Tea County is one of the best place for stay in Munnar. With good cleanliness, well trained staff & large area of the resort makes this one of the awesome place for stay cationing. There is a child's play area, well maintained gardens, spa, gym, pool and security people all around. Restaurant is good and you will get both Veg & Non Veg food here. This resort is at a quite top near to all Munnar Junctions and it makes it walkable from every market point. We availed resort provided transport for our Munnar Sightseeing driver was extremely polite, cooperative and knowledgeable. Finally worth a visit. Tea County was a memorable experience!
Stayed in Tea County for one night. Hotel is owned by KTDC. Unlike any Goverment owned hotel, this is an excellent hotel, clean and properly maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Very close to the town; all major attractions are easily reachable. Gardens and lawns are well organised and properly maintained. A very good restaurant, clean and spacious, serving tasty food. Staff looks very professional and polite. Highly recommented if you are visiting Munnar. More than hapoy to give a five star rating.

Had a very wonderful stay with my family during 1st week of June 2022. Celebrated birthday of my 2 years twin baby boy. Hotal staffs are very nice. The view of hills from room balcony are amazing. Foods at hotel restaurant are very good. Site seeing are organised by hotel.
Our 3 days stay at Tea County resort was a wonderful experience. Spread over 8 acres with cottages set amidst tall trees, it is located just 1 km from the centre of Munnar town. We had booked the Premium room which was spacious enough for three - myself, wife and 10 year old kid. The bathroom was clean with sufficient toiletries and hot water available throughout. King sized bed was quite comfortable, maybe little too soft. I loved the balcony overlooking the hills, it was a good place to relax and unwind with a sip of tea. They have only a few options for recreation - carroms, table tennis and billiards table. A badminton court would be a nice-to-have. The reception and security staff are very courteous and helpful. Room cleaning was immaculate. Breakfast buffet (free with the booking) was well stocked with variety of food, including Kerala traditional cuisine idiyappam/egg roast and puttu/kadala curry (on different days). Dinner buffet menu was disappointing for ₹500 plus taxes, it is predominantly vegetarian menu plus one chicken curry and chicken salad. The car parking is at an open ground adjacent to the property, gets muddy if it rains. It would be great if resort management consider paving tiles or concreting the parking area. During the rains, be sure to carry an umbrella so that you don't get drenched walking (2-3 minute steep climb) from parking lot to the resort entrance. Overall it was a good experience staying at Tea County. Will definitely recommend this place.…
