The hotel/house is located at a very nice place surrounded by hill on one side and tea plantation on the other side. The rooms are very cozy and view from the room is awesome. You can do small trekking through the routes within the tea gardens. Whole three days we were mesmerized by the whistling of Malabar whistling thrush. 600m from the main road to the hotel is narrow and non concrete but not an issue to travel by big car (mine was Ertiga).

What do you I say about this hotel. I just checked out yesterday from this hotel. It's just wow when it comes to the view. You get 2 views in one room. Both mountain view and tea garden view. Amazing value for money with regards room size, amenities, cleanliness and hygiene. Let me tell you about the staff. Anand (Manager), Ajit and Aravinth were super hospitable. These guys can can anticipate your requirements and organise for things that you would not even expect in the blink of an eye. All of them are nice people in the hotel including the aunty who was cleaning, the small kid who cleared plates and the old man in the kitchen. Thank you guys for the amazing hospitality.

Don't be deterred by the access path in tea plantations. You'll find a simple but friendly hotel to access the Eravikulam National Park. Just 5 rooms (several of them with windows on both sides !) and a rooftop place to eat. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Staff @ gruenberg is very helpful & friendly. The tea plantation view from hotel room is very refreshing. I suggest to hotel management to give more options in food as there are only few dishes available in the list.

This place is clean with great views of the tea plantations and mountains. We had a lovely small veranda as well. Showers were hit and staff very helpful. Sri the manager made sure our stay was very comfortable. The morning trek was complementary and a great way to see the environment. The rooftop balcony was lovely.

Pleasant, helpful staff and lovely views.Unfortunately the lack of any hot water the bathroom, sealed drinking water and the sight of green mould on the inside of the window frames was a spoiler for us.

This place just won my heart! This is so beautiful and literally once in a lifetime experience. The staff is very friendly and they try to understand everything even with the language problem. The views the rooms is so amazing. They even provided us with a complimentary trekking in the morning where the guide showed us different plants and trees in the forest. It was really a once in a lifetime experience! Completely loved this place!

The location is the only thing good about this place. Everything else is either mediocre or Outright bad. The room where i was put up had a bad electrical connection and we went without power one whole night. Nobody was in to even attend to the problem till we left the next day. Very limited menu and just about palatable. I had to drive down to a nearby hotel to have a cup of coffee as this place did not have milk. This is an indicator of poor planning. Overall a bad experience staying here. Certainly would not recommend.
