Royal Mist is a home away from home set in the lush mountains of Munnar. Jeeva and Anil are exceptional hosts - warm, helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We already miss their cooking! The highlight is the personal nature walk hosted by Anil through the surrounding tea plantations and sharing his local insights and knowledge. Also, having dinner on the balcony with those views is something quite magical, especially when the sun is setting. FEATURES: Spacious bedroom and bathroom; Room is clean and immaculate; Free wifi; Hot showers; Air conditioning; Felt safe and secure; Personal nature walk; Amazing cooking (seriously the best); Incredible views. I would stay here again. *We booked our accommodation through Reverence Tours, who custom designed our South India itinerary to meet our travel needs and budget. They have long-standing relationships with local homestays such as Royal Mist and private drivers. Quite renowned for being the tour specialists of South India. We found at the Royal Mist exactly what we were expecting from an authentic homestay. Jeeva and Anil are genuinely warm, friendly hosts. The area is quiet and peaceful, and a walk with Anil in the surrounding tea plantations is a must to complete this fantastic experience. Thank you so much!
Wonderful hosts, delicious food, beautiful location (a verdant tea plantation just a ten-minute walk away), comfortable and immaculate rooms. Hosts are super-helpful with arranging sightseeing. Thanks Anil and Jeeva!
We had a wonderful two night stay at this simple but wonderful homestay. Our hosts were helpful and welcoming. The walk included in our stay was amazing and the local scenery much of which could be seen from the balcony where we ate great food was incredible. Would love to return.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay here, hosted by Jeeva and Anil who were so very kind and welcoming. Beautiful views from the balcony area where you have your meals. Anil took us on a very interesting walk from the house, through woods and onto the tea plantation. Lots of opportunities for us to ask questions about the area and Kerala in general. Thank you so much, Bill and Justine Foster, Gloucestershire UK
