As you enter the club you get the feeling that this place has seen better days. However, as it stands today you can only catch a glimmer of its hoary past. The rooms are in total disarray.Even the bedlinen, towels etc are not clean. The food is homely but is very shabbily served. The only redeeming feature is the lounge and perhaps the flowers...

i had booked 02 rooms here for a weekend trip with some frnds and family..However, the set of friends had some change in travel dates. The contact person (over telephone) was very accommodating and confirmed change of bookings as per the changed dates. Full of anticipation when we reached the Club, it was located in a picturesque surroundings with tea...

An old British club still holding to its traditions and past culture. If you like to savour the old world English charm, and vestiges of the Raj era the place could be for you. Others, who love the modern fast-paced world could find this place does not suit them. So, the things that are English is mostly available. Accordingly, there...

Nice club with hotel rooms. The Club is old and the rooms are basic, but clean and functional. The facilities boast of a 9 hole Golf course which was closed in July (due to continuous rains), tennis courts, etc. Having stayed there for a couple of nights the service was excellent and the food served was simply awesome. Whatever, one...

Being from Kerala I would say this is the only place I will say is value for its money. Been going here for many years. You have to strictly follow the dress code etc, but then once you get used to it , all falls in place. The rooms are big especially the cottages outside. Food is also decent ,...

If you have never been to a military mess or a planter's bungalow in your life, you may feel wonderfully quaint and old world when you are here. But, if you'd rather feel Munnar, there are sure to be more comfortable, if not luxurious places out there at the price they charge you. Room service in the 'cottages' is painfully...

We arrived here at Club,on one rainy afternoon, and waited for our booked rooms to get ready. This place is fascinating with 6 acres & about 5 km from Munnar main Town.Enroute by Hillsides,by a Stream,by some Tea plantations, and some Tall trees. The road leading to the Estate was freshly paved, and devoid of any Traffic, any Noise and any Pollution ! We were shown...

We stayed in a Double room on the first floor in the main building . You also have the option of using the cottages, but they are a little distance away. Main building also houses the lounge, dining hall and the bar and overlooks the Golf course and gardens. So you are closer to everything. Nice laid back, club life.As this...

My partner and I found this hotel amazing, but saying that it will not be for everyone. It is as if you have gone back a hundred years go. Neat dress is required which adds to the atmosphere. hunting pictures cover the walls of old english members. The staff are friendly and the manager is a true gentleman who goes...

We stayed for 2 nights in January 2014. We were disappointed with our stay, and found this to be the least comfortable of all the places we stayed during a 3 week trip to India. The building had a faded, unwelcoming atmosphere despite its historical interest and beautiful setting. The food was mediocre with little choice. Service was adequate, but...
