Quiet location overlooking a lake about an hour's drive from white sands. Welcoming staff and dog! A series of spacious huts with lake view. Was expecting a tented camp, but they have "real" huts too! Evening buffet OK, but breakfast somewhat disappointing - good omelettes, but otherwise cereal, toast and jam.

Due to an annulation by an Italian Tourist Group (The Corona Virus was to blame) my wife and I were the only guests in the Safari Lodges. Nevertheless the staff made all the efforts to let us feel at home. The lodge was beautiful, the open air restaurant was a nice location to enjoy the glorious and peaceful view. The ‘always deadly on time’ fisherman on the lake told us what time it was for breakfast, which was sober. The fruit (watermelon!) was very fresh and delicious. We made trips to the little villages and the white Rann. Beautiful artcraft, lovely people. As we Dutchies do not speak Hindi, a little bit more skills in speaking english by the young and enthusiastic staff would help the communication to a higher level

We stayed at Kutch safari lodge early January. The location of the resort is very nice facing the dam. The staff is very cooperative and they provide you the variety of food( prepare specially whatever you want) and that was a additional benefit. The owner himself takes care of all guests personally.

The highlight of our entire trip was our stay in this resort. The place although not high in terms of luxury but one could forego these as it was compensated by the friendly staff. Absolutely terrific view, panoramic sunrises and sunsets, cobble-stoned paths leading to lovely nooks and corner. Traditional Kutch cottages although sparsely furnished, was quite clean and comfortable. One of the best highlights of our trip was waking up in the mornings, to see the blood orange sun rising while we sipped hot cups of tea in the biting cold. One could sit for hours soaking in the beauty for a view which is unmatchable by any standards. Special mention to the resort owner Manvir and his lovely wife who who were extremely courteous and friendly while assisting us with the things to do in Bhuj, Well trained, ever smiling and courteous hotel staff who went out of their way to cater to our smallest of needs. The food although not elaborate but yet was simple and very tasty. All in all an extremely pleasant experience, and I would surely recommend this place for people to visit.

Kutch Safari Lodge overlooks Rudramata Reservoir and there cannot be better location in Bhuj than this. Individual cottages are tastefully done with ethnic character. However best part about hotel is its service headed by Ajit Singh, who took care of us very well. Tea was served in morning so that we could have tea with lake views. We requested a Kutchi meal and hotel agreed to serve in evening. So no complaints and full marks to the hotel.

This resort is perched right on the top of a small hill overlooking the Rudramata Dam water reservoir. The location is simply breathtaking. We were lucky since Kutch had good rains this monsoon and hence the water reservoir was full. The accommodation was traditionally styled air conditioned Kutchi Bhungas , which were clean and comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly and always ready to serve with a smile. Every meal that we ordered was made to order and was simple yet delicious. A special note of thanks to our host Mr Manvirsingh Vaghela, who gave us super useful tips of places to visit nearby and also took us on a ride for the special jeep safari. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a memorable ride. We look forward to visiting this place again.

The resort is situated on small hill above a lake, a wonderful place. The cottages are quite spacious and well furnished. The bathroom was o.k. In front of the entrance a terrace was inviting to relax and enjoy the beautiful view over the lake. We were a bit unhappy with the dinners and breakfasts. Clearly they could not supply a buffet, because we were the only guests. But what they served during our 3 days visit was simply monotonous and uninspired. So I can rate this resort only as average.

We spend three nights here during our Gujarat trip in December, 2019. The location of the property is simply out of the world with a dam just beneath the hillock. Being avid birders, we went all the way down and had a great time clicking pelicans, painted storks, flamingos, and many other birds. The owner of the property Mr. Manvir Singh Vaghela is a perfect gentleman, and provided valuable inputs to make our trip a memorable one. Our traditional Kutch style hut or 'Bhunga' was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Everywhere in Gujarat, the non-veg food choices are limited in all resorts. However, on our request, the team at Kutch Safari Lodge provided us mutton as well as fish. Thanks a lot for all your help and we would love to be your guest once again in the future.

Situated in the countryside away from any towns, peaceful and picturesque. Round lodge accommodation with seating outside and some with own swings in the porch! Shower was ok, A/C very, very noisy, unable to use overnight and the fan was not attached to the ceiling, wobbling around way too unsafe to use. There appeared to be a swimming pool but unusable as it had not been cleaned, having murky green water in it. However, the buffet evening meal and breakfast was very good with attentive staff.
