The K. S. Lodge is the best place near Bhuj to stay !! Very quite and peaceful with the beautiful traditional Kutchhi Style rooms with all modern facilities! No one can beat the location of this property!! Don’t miss the Sunrise over the lake from your rooms as well as from the restaurant!!
Quiet location overlooking a lake about an hour's drive from white sands. Welcoming staff and dog! A series of spacious huts with lake view. Was expecting a tented camp, but they have "real" huts too! Evening buffet OK, but breakfast somewhat disappointing - good omelettes, but otherwise cereal, toast and jam.
Due to an annulation by an Italian Tourist Group (The Corona Virus was to blame) my wife and I were the only guests in the Safari Lodges. Nevertheless the staff made all the efforts to let us feel at home. The lodge was beautiful, the open air restaurant was a nice location to enjoy the glorious and peaceful view. The ‘always deadly on time’ fisherman on the lake told us what time it was for breakfast, which was sober. The fruit (watermelon!) was very fresh and delicious. We made trips to the little villages and the white Rann. Beautiful artcraft, lovely people. As we Dutchies do not speak Hindi, a little bit more skills in speaking english by the young and enthusiastic staff would help the communication to a higher level
We stayed at Kutch safari lodge early January. The location of the resort is very nice facing the dam. The staff is very cooperative and they provide you the variety of food( prepare specially whatever you want) and that was a additional benefit. The owner himself takes care of all guests personally.
The highlight of our entire trip was our stay in this resort. The place although not high in terms of luxury but one could forego these as it was compensated by the friendly staff. Absolutely terrific view, panoramic sunrises and sunsets, cobble-stoned paths leading to lovely nooks and corner. Traditional Kutch cottages although sparsely furnished, was quite clean and comfortable. One of the best highlights of our trip was waking up in the mornings, to see the blood orange sun rising while we sipped hot cups of tea in the biting cold. One could sit for hours soaking in the beauty for a view which is unmatchable by any standards. Special mention to the resort owner Manvir and his lovely wife who who were extremely courteous and friendly while assisting us with the things to do in Bhuj, Well trained, ever smiling and courteous hotel staff who went out of their way to cater to our smallest of needs. The food although not elaborate but yet was simple and very tasty. All in all an extremely pleasant experience, and I would surely recommend this place for people to visit.…
