Visited this newly opened place Sizzling China for lunch in Aroma Hotel, situated inPanjim and it was a good choice. Very nice for family and friends. Soothing ambience, spacious and lively. We ordered the sizzling china appetizers and the taste was really nice. The quantity of all dishes was worth the price. We ordered lamb burnt chilli rice and korean vegetable rice which were both very filling, delicious and sumptuous. The pina colada was also nice. The Chicmanglur Kappi ice cream is a must try. Must visit place in Panjim.

The Executive room was very clean, daily housekeeping service and all the staff were very very friendly and helpful in case of any queries. The location is ideal, walking distance to various restaurents as well as for shopping. The market was a mere 15 minutes walk.

Superb location, and great stay. The staff is great and so are the rooms. Would recommend a executive room over the deluxe as its a bit bigger to move around. The room service is also very good and timely. Highly recommend it.

The location of the hotel is good, located in Panjim near casinos and market. The room has no lock inside, the staff opens the room with master key without ringing the bell. THat is invasion of privacy. The reception person is rude in asking for the ID proof. The overall behaviour of the staff is non-helpful and not at all suitable for hospitality in hotel business.

The hotel is one of the best hotel within the city. It is very near to the church, Market, Casinos & restaurant. The management is also very cooperative. The rooms have AC, TV & Fridge. Their is complementary breakfast in the morning.

This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Panjim city. There is a large beautiful garden outside the hotel All rooms air - conditioned Telephones & TV in all rooms All rooms are connected via wifi. There is laundry service also. Complementary Breakfast is also served.
There are 3 types of room: 1. Deluxe - Rs. 3300 2. Executive - Rs. 3850 3. Executive suite - Rs. 5500 (Taxes Extra) They do give discounts on the basic fair. This hotel is popular among the corporate as there are a lot of corporate bookings.
They do have an in house restaurant "Shere-E-Punjab"
Near this hotel there is casino, river bay, church, markets, restaurant.
So overall its a good place to stay.

stay here if you wanna be close to offshore casinos and need a budget room...decent budget rooms..nothing very fancy or classy.. try finding rooms away from lifts. else it can get a bit noisy during day.

Arrived in low season to book for the night. We got a brief 'hello' before the reception phone rang. After waiting five minutes while he talked with his back to us we left and found a hotel around the corner.

I had booked this hotel after a lot of research however still it was a gamble... u don't know the reality unless you experience it :)
This hotel comes with a mixed bag of service levels. To start with the good points:
1. Centrally located in Panaji city 2. Various restaurants & Fast food establishments like Kamath, Domino's pizza, Delhi Darbar, CCD, Naturals, etc are at walkable distance 3. The Panaji Church is @ 2 mins walk 4. The hotel staff is very helping and courteous, the check-in time is 12 noon however due to road transport schedules i reached @ 8 AM. As there was room available, the hotel staff fallowed me to check-in @ 8 AM without any additional cost. If the rooms are not available, the hotel has a very comfortable waiting lobby with rest room & TV facilities 5. City Tours bus arrangements, vehicles on rent or city guidance is available at the hotel reception 6. Can definitely be considered as SAFE hotel for first time visitors, families & couples 7. Breakfast served in the room is amazing considering the breakfast timing as 8:30-9 am 8. Wide options @ walkable distance to spend the evening in Panaji city
Areas of Improvement: 1. The mini fridge provided in the room needs regular servicing, the one provided in my room was not working 2. One or two cockroaches enjoy the privilege of an executive AC room, need pest control 3. Need to check for stains on towels before placing them for the guest, as the stained ones can leave a bad impression on guests 4. The TV Cable service should be uninterrupted during morning as this is the time when guest like to watch for
--- This is the good option for people who dont like to spend their entire trip on beaches.
If you are going for this hotel, please check for the prices on various websites such as Cleartrip, Makemytrip, hotels.com, etc. you may find a good deal. The executive room tariff for offf season is areoung 2250, from makemytrip i got it for 1500 per nite. This is the discount given by makemytrip and not by hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in December 2012. The hotel is centrally located in Panjim and very close to the IC church. The rooms are this hotel are very spacious and clean. The WiFi service provided by the hotel was poor and had dropped several times. I was not able to upload even a single photo using the WiFi. The breakfast options were very limited and really not worth the price. There are several food joints around the hotel and you get very good Goan cuisine food. The hotel arranges for bike rental and car rental for airport drop. However, if you take a short walk away from the hotel, you get better and cheaper options for both bike rental and car rental. The cost per room is higher when compared with other properties in the vicinity. Nevertheless, it is a good and clean hotel, but not a value for money hotel.
