There's plenty to like about this colonial gem. Located in a quiet, historic area just outside Panjim's centre, the hotel is packed with Portuguese quaintness from the rickety wooden doors to the verandas and huge four-poster double beds. Communal areas are smart, artistic and service is efficient and unobtrusive. Breakfast is excellent and in the evening the vindaloo - a...

We only came for a break within a walk through the city. The property is nice and you can rest nice and shady on the terrace of the Panjim inn. Unfortunately the food was way overpriced and the food itself disappointing (worst meal / most expensive meal in a three weeks India trip). The food seems to have good quality,...

The Panjim Pousada was a marvelous old colonial building; part of its charm is now destroyed by the renovation that removed the old wollden floors and replaced them with horrible tiles. The massacre did not spare inner courtyards and verandas. In our room they used some awful lamps that were the ones that were used for the exterior (!?!?) What...

The location of this hotel is near the river, close to many shops and restaurants but a taxi ride away from any beaches. The hotel itself is situated over two buildings. The main building host the reception, breakfast dining hall and balcony restaurant. The rooms in this part appear to also have balcony overlooking the street. The additional building which...

Our room was large, clean and beautifully furnished with traditional furniture. The beds were large and comfortable and there was aircon and a fan. Bottled water was provided and there were tea and coffee making facilities. There was a good shower and hot water in the shower and basin. Breakfast was a good buffet with omelettes freshly cooked. I would...

My previous visit to Panjim Inn was some years ago, a "passing through" stay on the way to Mumbai. My recollection was of a place that was ideal for a quiet break, and I arrived in January for an 8 week stay. Panjim Inn is everything it claims to be, period, elegant and atmospheric. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped...

An historic building with comfort and charm in the heritage district and above an art gallery. We were upgraded to a suite in the Panjim Peoples across the road from the main hotel with its breakfast room, terrace restaurant and spa. We especially liked the veranda restaurant and its special of the day, grilled king prawns - also the cocktails...

Very atmospheric, well maintained, real deal old Portuguese Inn. We have wanted to stay here for years and were not disappointed when we finally did. Breakfast was excellent too, but didn't eat either lunch or dinner there so can't comment

A lovely building with a great ambience and friendly staff. Great food in the balcony restaurant and breakfast is all you could ask for. Hotel is short walk to city centre for shops, sightseeing or restaurants. Rooftop jacuzzi is a bonus on a hot day. Hotel has no elevator but staff will carry your luggage. Room was spacious and well...
