Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho is a heritage business boutique property in the heart of Goa's only latin quarter. This is a 150 year old property complete with old-world charm of Goa and yet with all the modern day comforts that has been lovingly restored and converted into a heritage business B&B.It is an 8 room ground plus one Portuguese era house with its own cosy 1000 sqft. garden area.
Stayed here for a single night and had a great stay! - it was really good. It is a beautiful house, the owners lovely and the vibe of the area great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Walked to/from everything whilst we were in Panjim.

This place gave a nostalgic feeling of the old ancestral homes which many indians used to have until 10-15 years ago. Unfortunately many of such homes are now demolished. This place reminded me of my own ancestral home. The interiors and tiling give you a feeling you have gone back in time. The guest house is simple with all the basic necessities you would expect out of a hotel stay. The owners of the place and the staff all are very helpful. We had a nice general conversation with Mr. Roy and his wife along with a few other guests during breakfast. The breakfast btw was also very tasty. The location is right in the middle of old panjim town having buildings built of Portuguese-Indian architecture. Would definitely stay here again if i come back to panjim.

This has been my favorite in the old district of Panjim. Convenient location Simple place Breakfast included Clean linen spacious rooms with high ceilings Gives an excellent opportunity to experience a Portuguese villa at a budget price Breakfast options could be improved. Would not recommend this place, if you wish proximity to a beach. Friendly owners too - since we have become too comfortable with it, we end up staying there every month on our work trips. Definitely worth trying!

We stayed here mid June. The owner and his staff were very friendly, the room was huge and very clean it was beautiful. The breakfast was great getting to try all local food and being told what they are! The owner also helped us with motorbike rental and information on the local area. If near everything and felt safe. if I came back to Panjim I would stay here :)

4 of us stayed here for 4 days - we really had very nice time. the owner couple is very friendly and pampered us with personal attention. This is an old house - portuguese architecture - converted to a small guest house - charming wooden furniture, very very high ceiling rooms - hardly see those now any where - rooms were very clean - nice big clean toilets - rooms are Air con. Our room had a big balcony which was very nice - specially in rains - Location is great too - very close to every thing in centre of Panjim the property is in a small lane - there is no separate parking for the property - and though there is no parking issues in the lane - guests have to park in the lane at any available place. But not an issue - always found parking lot - safe too . the…

Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho a hotel with character. Owners Roy and Sharon are perfect hosts. A Couple with an eye for detail. Their staff are friendly and always accommodating. The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the food catered was for both the vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The hotel is centrally located in Panjim. I would recommend anyone who travels to Panjim-Goa to stay in Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho. Cheers to Roy and team.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hopederia Abrigo de Botelho. The staff and owner were nice and friendly and help us around. We loved the building, the furniture and features of the place and our room was superb. We had the most comfy bed that allowed us the best sleep and the room had a nice balcony with a couple of beautiful old rocking chairs. Unfortunately, we stayed there while the Monsoon was pretty intense so we didn't get to enjoy Goa so much but we will definitely be back if ever in Panjim!

Awesome place to stay.. Roy, the owner is a wonderful person. He attends to every guest personally.. The rooms are great and the service is very good. You will have nothing to complaint if you are looking for a comfortable room with a nice breakfast.. Other meals you can have outside or they can arrange for you.. There are no frills like swimming pool but there is so much else to do in the vicinity that you will not miss the swimming pool.. Everything else is taken care very well.

Is like being in a family but without the obligations. Clean, centric ,quiet and smily stuff.Roy has been very helpful and we got 2 beautiful rooms with antic furniture. Only 8 rooms and a little jewel in the goan monsoon. You can walk around Fontainhas without much stress.

A lovely place to stay. Located in a nice part of Panjim, quiet but with good restaurants nearby and the main part of town a short walk (less than 10 minutes). Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with high ceilings. The owner is friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Highly recommend!
