I would like to start this review by issuing an apology to my parents who wanted to spend all 6 days of our Goa trip at this property but I insisted on spending some time at a sprawling resort in South Goa. The property is brand spanking new, they started operations on 14th Feb 2020 and reopened in October 2020. The vertical garden and motor court at the entrance has a very calming experience as if you're transported to a different plane of existence. As you walk through the door you witness a view unlike any other, akin to one out of the window of your own yacht. The tall atrium and tastefully appointed surfaces work very well and nestle you in. The check in was very smooth as we were asked to sit on a sofa and the staff would take care of the needful. Ritwik from the front desk was particularly helpful as he made us feel very welcome and even recommended a few restaurants for us to check out. We were led through a long alley and into our room. As we opened the door, the blinds opened and a view so gorgeous and so out of this world, we spent the next hour just trying to wrap our head around it. The room was very big with two queen beds with room for a sofa big enough for two people to lay lengthwise. There was still room was an extra bed. The cupboards were decently sized and the bathroom was well proportioned but the ventilation needed some work. One thing of note is that the furniture was unusually light and very unlike Taj. Everything was controlled with a touch panel and the room wasnt particularly noisey. All the surfaces were luxurious but a bit rough around the edges as the hotel is yet to complete. The terrace level is simply breathtaking and it was a shame that the pool wasn't operational. I would like to make a special mention for our valet Mr. Arjun Singh who was nothing short of an hero when our rental car had a flat in the parking lot and the wheel won't come off. He threw caution to the wind and lunged to help us out, with no concern for his white uniform or about the less than stable car jack. All of the staff from the cleaners, doormans, waiters and managers were extremely welcoming and helpful. They made one feel very special and it is the kind of X factor that makes one come back again and again to such a place. The breakfast was very very good with a lot of options and not a lot of rush. There is so many things about this hotel that are exemplary, that very minor things are the only issues one can nitpick.

My wife and I had booked a stay at the Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Panjim for our first wedding anniversary in the last week of November 2020. Because of safety and health concerns owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, our plan was to book a good hotel and mostly spend our time chilling in the hotel or at the nearby beach. And it eventually turned out that this hotel was absolutely perfect for our purpose.
The hotel was about a 40-minute drive from the Goa airport. On reaching the hotel, we met Mr. Shubham Dangwal, who helped us with our check-in formalities. Since we were there to celebrate a special occasion of our lives, the hotel most generously gave us a double upgrade on the room we had booked, as well as a late checkout on our day of departure from the hotel. Mr. Shubham then gave us a quick tour of the hotel and guided us to our room, which had a lovely view of the Arabian Sea.
We spent most of the time at the hotel relaxing by the rooftop pool, though it was not functional at the time. The sunset as viewed from the hotel rooftop was a sight to behold. The cool breeze was very soothing. The hotel also provides free shuttle service to Cidade de Goa resort, which is a sister property. From there one can get access to the beach which is almost like a private beach maintained by the hotel group and visited mostly by the hotel’s guests only.
The breakfast provided at the hotel was one of the best I have ever had at any hotel in India, with a very wide variety of food and beverages. So much so that we actually skipped lunch on a couple of occasions since we were too full from breakfast in the morning. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant BLD Alfresco on our anniversary night. The hotel was kind enough to make special arrangements for us in order to mark the occasion. Big thanks to Ms. Cidel, Ms. Tanvi and Mr. Bikki for their utmost cooperation in this regard. On other days also we dined at the hotel, where buffet was available at a very reasonable price.
Overall those were three wonderful days that we spent at the hotel, nothing short of perfect. The entire hotel staff was very cordial and courteous, and always ready to help the guests with their needs. A special thanks to Mr. Shubham Dangwal for his hospitality. The next time we plan a trip to Goa, we would not think twice before booking our stay at Taj Hotel & Convention Centre again.

Team of 50 of us checked into the hotel for weekend last week . It was seamless check in as details of the travellers along with id was shared and we were ushered into the room in no time . the room was very good spacious for two along with big bathroom with separate shower area and toilet . Since the company had bulk , I am not sure of the rates but it was a great experience for both business and leisure . The convention centre was also very good with host of amenities .

We planned a week-long staycation at the hotel. From the moment we reached the hotel to the day we checked out everything was awesome. The staff is courteous and super helpful. The rooms are state of the art, the panoramic ocean view from the room is absolutely blissful. The area of the room is also good and the bathroom is extravagant. The buffet breakfast served at the hotel has a variety of options available and their chai is to kill for. They have a private road which leads directly to the beach and it's great for strolls. The terrace gives an amazing view. Cidade de goa is also accessible from the property and the complete package is worth the money. Miramar beach is minutes away and everything is easily accessible. We were skeptical about the internet connectivity but the hotel has great wifi, we had no issues in our work video calls, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I can’t imagine my stay could be any better than this. Everything was superb. The rooms, corridors and terrace have excellent views of the sea. There is a beach in front of the property which is great, I went there for my morning walk. While coming back to hotel from the beach I slipped at the road as because of rains was slippery, I got a minor abrasion on my knee, I reached hotel and asked one staff member for band aid and what I experienced after that was the real “Tajness”. Even before I reach my room, there was a staff member with a first aid kit, not just she applied band aid but also cleaned my skin with dettol and asked me how this happened and everything. You feel genuine care in her voice. I should have asked her name.
The food was excellent, along with normal breakfast spread they serve some of the best Indian sweets. I really liked one sweet and when I checked what was the name of that dish I was informed it is “Ghee Barfi”. The sweet was like really soft and pleasure to my taste buds. Maybe my next stay at this property would be for “Ghee Barfi”

I stayed with my family for 4 nights and 5 days in Goa from 25th to 29th May 2022. We had two rooms as we were traveling with two kids aged 8 and 15, my mother aged 77 as well as me and my wife. I say that Taj Resort and Convention centre is the best because of multiple reasons that I will share below: 1) They upgraded one of our rooms to Sea View room 2) They provided breakfast to the kids at no charge 3) As Epicure members, we got discounts on everything from Spa to Liquor 4) The Taj Club Sea View Rooms were beyond magnificent. Everything from the superlative view to the smart room features was excellent. 5) The entire property including the access to the beach which although technically Public but for all practical purposes private is superb. The Vainguinim Beach is very gentle and very clean with Taj and a sister property maintaining the same and with security as well as shuttle from hotel to beach available on demand 24*7 6) The water sports at the beach by Xavier for the hotel guests exclusively was reasonable and satisfying. We did Jet Ski at Calangute and then at Vainguinim Beach and there was a world of difference. Here, our son could ride the Jet Ski for full 10 minutes and at Calangute its hardly a minute 7) The Infinity Pool, the deck area, the kids play area and the Bar Area were wonderful 8) The Banyan Bar was wonderful and the expertise of the staff was evident in the finesse of the drinks 9) The highlight for me was the SUPER friendly and courteous staff. I want to especially mention Fagun during check in and Shailesh and Kaustabh during Check out. We had gone out for an activity on the last day and were supposed to check out at 12 p.m. however due to weather the activity got delayed and we eventually checked out at 4 p.m. but the staff was super understanding especially since my mom was alone in the room. I am truly grateful for this 10) Lastly, for the money we paid, keeping in ming that this is a 5 star property, the Value proposition is beyond compelling. Simply one of the best places to stay in Goa with family!

The 6 nights spent with Taj resorts and convention was a fabulous and much relaxed rejuvenated experience! The resort has a massive Infiniti pool on the terrace(similar to marina bay sands) and a nice underground Infiniti pool. The property as an access to a secluded beautiful small beach with a nice well maintained lawns and walking turf. Overall this makes it a perfect upscale Goa getaway!!!

Overall (5/5) : an extraordinary experience.. total value for money! The resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and a natures retreat, without burning a big hole in the pocket.
Staff (5/5) : very very polite and humble staff.. everyone was ready to make it our most memorable vacation. One of the properties where we found hospitality of a different level. Siddharth (from Guest Relations and Reception) has been super friendly and a great host. A definite asset to the Taj group. A special thanks to Uday (housekeeping), Muret, Conrad, Chris, Ashish, Nanna, Jatin, Amit Kesari, Omkar (dining team), Kubendra and Santosh (chef) and all other staff members. Will miss these past few days. Kudos!
Hotel Rooms (5/5) : We stayed in room #1627 (a taj club sea room with a massive sea view) and #1517 (a luxury suite). The room were massive, with huge bath tub, huge glass view overlooking the sea and beach with no hindrance.
Food (4/5) : We relished some delicious dishes like Mysore dosa; noodles; chats, desserts. The breakfast and dinner buffet spread was massive with a lot of cuisine. And special highlight to the complimentary sumptuous chocolate cake for celebrating our special occasion.
Leisure and Activities (3/5) : Due to COVID, spa was not operational. But with 2 massive pools and lovely beach, we dint cared much for other activities... The complimentary high-tea set up was like a mini breakfast.. although location of setup could be a better one. some live music was also organised by the hotel over the weekend. Property has a massive cinema (but was not operational currently).
The property has a massive terrace infinity pool and deck with a splendid view of the beach and an underground open Infinity pool as well.
Spa (N/A) : Not operational
Other attractions near by : Panjim city (8 kms), famous anjuana beach (kms); Baga beach (20 kms).
Overall, we found this taj resorts to be a spectacular 5 star property which ain’t that expensive and hence if someone wish to stay for a long duration in Goa this can be the best getaway property.

We stayed in Taj convention center for 6 nights during new year. Being a tak property, service is definitely top notch and all the staff goes extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Sea facing rooms have amazing views and when you enter you room, panoramic window curtains automatically opens giving you an awesome visual experience. Make sure to get a sea facing room for your stay. Beach access is through a short road but it’s downhill from hotel so if you are traveling with small kids or senior citizens, consider this. Front desk told us that we have option to take their car to beach front but we never saw anyone using it. Food prices are at par with 5 star but quality is good. Restaurant staff are very helpful, special thanks to Asheesh for taking care of us like family.
Overall if you are on a business trip and want a luxurious stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are mainly for pleasure and traveling with kids, you can also consider it’s sister property next door, Cidade De Goa, which has a resort like atmosphere. You can use facilities of both hotels during your stay.

This property has two separate hotels- the traditional Heritage property atvthe lower level near the beach, and the new modern Horizon at an upper level on the cliff - with frequent car shuttle between the two properties! The rooms are fairly big with elegant contemporary interior decor and large French windows looking out over the vista! Will recommend paying a little extra to stay in the sea view rooms, with panoramic view across the mouth of the Zuari river and the clean beach below. The entrance, lobby level bar and sit out all looks across the sea front, and the top floor terrace with an infinity pool also provide panoramic views! Overall, worth spending the 5 star rates, if one can afford - for a day or 2. Breakfast spread was as generally expected in 5 star hotels. Didn't get a chance to try one of the several restaurants across the 2 properties! Guests are allowed to use facilities, including pools, in both properties!

Public transport not available in Goa . You will need your own car or can rent a cab which is very common . There is a shuttle from Taj cidade to heritage every few minutes though for visiting heritage property of Taj with beach access.
Yes of course..... The kids can access the kids club there. Cidade is right next to the beach, so you can access the beach from there. You can reach Cidade by a Taj taxi and come back whenever you want.
There are more places to choose from in the Panjim area.
