Good - 1.Location. 2.Bengali server with moustache (don't know his name) gave good service at restaurant. Very polite and smiling behaviour. 3. Room tariff is affordable. 4. Bed and AC were comfortable.
Bad - 1.No wifi available and breakfast not included. 2. Food price is high. Not expected from a government establishment whose room tariff is lower in comparison. 3. No intercom / phone in room. 4. Nobody comes to clean room. 5. Balcony, furniture, curtains, tables etc were dirty. 6. Tv was not working. 7. Room service - You have to remind them several times if you want even a water bottle.

A place.worth a stay if looking for budget stay. Beautiful surroundings and near by beach is the bounty.the rooms are.spacious, Balcony is big and bed space is sufficient. Clean linen, regular water. Only Kettle to warm water is given, carry your own tea making stuff. Restaurant is okay(3/5rating). Zomato swiggy work fine, and turn out to be cheaper than shaks..Refrigerator in the rooms is a boon.

I would like to recommend professional spa services at Tattva spa . They are really good and professional . Also recommend Alenti and tiniya for their excellent warm care . The location of the hotel Cidade de Goa and Taj is excellent with beautiful calm ambience , lovely music , great food . Goa is always a great place for relaxation and business combined . This twin hotels are a combination of antiquity and modernity for one to experience both .

We booked GTDC Honeymoon package in which this hotel was in the list. This was our first stay at GOA.
I had gone for GTDC hotels because my experience with government stays are good. I always book state tourism packages because they are very good in location wise. and this was too right on the spot
Very good stay. maintained as a 4 star hotel. very good quality food.
Overall very very good hotel with great goan cuisine food. very ideal for new honeymooners as well as couples.

A very nice experience altogether of this place. Staff was nice, Room was clean (except fridge). Places in and around Goa was in reachable limits (just hire a self-drive 2 wheeler). Breakfast included in the room charges was excellent and tasty and had lot of varieties. Nearby Chaupati was also very nice and had lot of options... I would definitely recommend this palce if you want to stay in Panjim. Worth it for the money you are giving!

Arrangements were basic but quite adequate. Housekeeping was excellent with daily change of sheets and towels. Service was also very good and food served by Room Service was tasty. Looks slightly run down because the furnitures and fixtures are slightly dated and not very well maintained.
One thing we sorely missed was wifi facility in rooms.
Location very good with proximity to the beach. Well connected with close access to the public transport system.
Overall a good experience. Good value for money!

Stayed her4e for two nights during 1st week of February.Location is good,near miramar beach.If you like peacefull non market area then it is perfect for you.Cleanliness is ok,cant say super clean but also not dirty.We stayed in AC standard room.Room were basic but ok.Not to fancy but having all basic things.As it is government hotel so service is not up to the mark,litlle bit slow.Our room was in a 4 floor building.There are many cottage also on higher tariff.Our room rent was 2499 with complimentary break fast.Break fast was good.We were served 1st day Bread butter/Jam and omlet,poori bhaji,upama,Uttapam,Dosa,fresh fruit/juice and sandwitch .Taste wise all items were good.Hotel has a restaurant name food land and it serves really good goan food.Restaurant is additional benifit to the Hotel.It also got a nescafe cafe and a bakery shop in the campus.It got swimming pool also but that was very small and not so clean.Please keep in mind that this hotel is not directly on beach.You cant view see from most of the rooms.Over all i can suggest this hotel if some one wanted to stay some where far from crowded area of panaji.

We stayed at Miramar Residency for 3 days from Dec 27 to Dec 30 2013. The room we got was big. Do check out different rooms if you can because some are small & the cottages though sound exotic are really tiny compared to the rooms. Food at the hotel is average but expensive. Breakfast is complimentary & only South Indian but tasty. A very nice set up in the open air to begin your day pleasantly. Miramar beach is just a 2 mins walk through the property itself & if you have kids thats a delight because the hotel pool is nice but quite small. Room is basic. Our room had dirty sheets which we got changed later. So do check. They do not provide any toiletries like soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Only hot water, mug & bucket. Fridge is not stocked. Do remember to bring back a few bottles of water atleast from outside. If you are travelling with children, it will be handy to carry small tetra packs of milk. There is no in-house laundry service. They get it done through a dhobi far away, so delivery is one day. A/c worked perfectly well. Room has nice thick blankets & sheets, a dressing table, cupboard, tv. Cleanliness is not 100% hygienic I would say but bearable. Housekeeping changes the sheets & towels everyday or as & when asked even. Rooms are cleaned & bath washed everyday. They do provide a kettle for hot water on request. Once the doors are shut there is no disturbance during sleep time. The landscaping outside is very pleasant & nicely maintained.
Overall a good stay. No complaints at all if you can adjust for a couple of days & not be too fussy about your trip.
P.S. Don't book a cab through the taxi office inside the premise. They fleece you. Go through the hotel's reception instead.

I'm not too sure about Jain food availability. I would recommend you to call the hotel and ask them. The taxi from Goa airport to Miramar could cost you anywhere from Rs.600 to Rs.1200 depending on what kind of vehicle you request. I went there as a guest and i drove down to Goa from Mumbai so i did not ask them if they provide airport pickup and drop but please call and ask them. It is a good place to stay. Great location and very close to the beach. 10 minutes slow walk and you are on the beach.

2. Many taxi service available outside airport and also airport taxi available.
3. Not sure about hotel arranging airport pick up as I am not working with hotel only a tourist. Hotel arrange Goa tours in mini bus
Hi ... well the hotel is 500 meters from the room but non have a sea view its surrounded by lot of trees ... the hotel building rooms are very old now and are shady ... choose any room from the cottages they have in front of the hotel building ... preferably room on the first floor they all swimming pool facing ...
Taxis in Goa is big rip off,full cartel. I never traveled between these two destinations. They can ask you anything from 800 to 1200. Distance is just 15- 16 km. One suggestion if there is prepaid counter have taxi from them.
There are more places to choose from in the Panjim area.
