I had a wonderful stay here at Ginger for a week. A trendy hotel, with top-notch rooms and facilities. They took all the necessary precautions of using masks, sanitizers, social distancing in common areas. The location is extravagant, right in the busy part of town and a short walk away from the ferry beach. The breakfast was fantastic! Also had a lovely evening in the lounge, with great food and music! I had personally enjoyed playing the guitar available in the lobby, and did hit the gym too; also, the interiors are flawsome! Thanks to Nazarin for the wonderful hospitality and timely neat room cleaning, and also Arif for organising the room facilities. Also best experience with Shankar to provide smooth food serving. The staff is very polite and sweet.

We stayed at the Ginger Goa Panjim for 4 nights in November 2021.
Pros: 1) The place is quite neat and all staff wear mask and all are fully vaccinated. 2) The rooms and bathrooms are clean. 3) The breakfast spread is good and is served early – starts at 7:30 am. 4) They have a laundry service. 5) The internet speed is good. The basic internet is free which is good enough for casual browsing. 6) The staff is courteous. 7) The hotel location is good. It is a very short walk to the Fontainhas from here and at the same time, it is very easy to get in/out of Panjim from the hotel. 8) There are a decent number of eateries next to the hotel. 9) Like most Ginger hotels, there is a good travel desk and they helped us with our travel needs. 10) The a la carte service is available through out the day and the choices and taste are good. 11) The tariff is reasonable.
Cons: 1) As with any Ginger Hotel, the rooms are bit on the smaller side. 2) The breakfast taste is a bit average. And a few items do not get served until well past 8 am. 3) The front desk seems a bit understaffed. They need to add more members during the peak times. 4) The bed was too soft for our liking.

I did not like this place as they do not treat their guests fairly. We went out for dinner and when we returned, the security guard did not allow my car in the premises saying that the parking was full. He asked me to park outside, which I did. However, later I saw the same security guard allow another car into the premises. When questioned about it, he came up with the feeble excuse that the other car was smaller. This line of reasoning was quite specious as there was enough space between the cars parked in the premises. The name of the security guard is Mr Dara Singh. It would be great if the management could train him on the importance of treating guests equitably.
I disliked this hotel for many other reasons as well. Usually there is loud music playing in the reception, this proved to be quite irritating especially at the time of check-in. The staff, though polite, does not exude any warmth. The colour scheme of the walls in the corridors is dark and drab, which results in a somewhat depressing atmosphere. There is no false ceiling in the corridors and the pipes running along the ceiling look quite ugly. Cleanliness standards need to improve as some strands of hair were found in the shelf in the room. Also, when the western commode in the bathroom is flushed, droplets of water end up landing outside the commode as the water pressure is too high.
Breakfast is served only from 7:45 am so if one wants to leave earlier than that, say at 7 am, then one has to leave without having breakfast.
As of now, I would rate this place as avoidable. However, if this hotel can put some improvements in place, then given its location, I believe that this place has the potential of being a good transit point, say for travellers landing at Panaji late in night and leaving the next morning.

Pathetic Experience. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this property. The hotel staff was incompetent and unprofessional , right front eh money I checked in. Check In- they just took my id when I arrived and gave me my room number. 1. Did not have an access card working, said the server is slow. 2. No staff to escort to room just said you can go. Did not show the way to elevator had to carry my luggage myself. When I asked for housekeeping they refused and said that will be done only during day time at their convenience. I let all this pass by . But my expletive today at breakfast was the worst. The staff was incompetent in providing me a slice of toasted bread for 30 mins on the breakfast table. After 30 mins they came to me with a half cooked toast. When I said this is not correc reply was ‘“ jo hai, yehi hai” Would never recommend anyone staying here, also my worst decision ever in Goa, any shack or small hotel has better hospitality than these people. Never book, if you don’t want to be cheated .

I have been at Goa for four times in my life. This is highly significant that last three times I have chosen Ginger, Panjim for our stay. This hotel is highly recommended by me and my family for anyone's stay at Goa. Rooms are beautifully maintained and hygienic measures are taken by most enthusiastic housekeeping department. All consumables like shaving kit, toothbrush, tooth paste, soap, shampoo n conditioner, single use slipper for in-house use are provided by the hotel authority regularly. One most important thing is provided by the hotel management for the guests are sufficient sealed bottles of leading brand DRINKING WATER. This is a well known headache for guests to find packaged drinking water at most of the places. Complimentary breakfast can be compared to any 5 star hotel. The breakfast buffet covers food range for every Indians as well as foreigners. They have an excellent bar cum restaurant cum coffee shop called Qmin which is well known to everyone at goa and tourists for serving excellent quality F/B at most reasonable price. We hardly have taken our lunch and dinner outside as we could compare the superior food quality at pocket friendly price at our hotel only. Employees of this property are biggest assets offcourse. I shall be happy to mention few by not hurting the rest because each and everyone is equally efficient at their job. Chef Pradeep Rawat is probably one of the best at the town. Restaurant supervisor Mr. Anmol Upadhyay is superb. Anusua mam at front desk is always serious at her work along with all her hard working colleagues. Preeti sister, Saukhilal brother, Pankaj brother, Sandipan Kundu and all restaurant staffs are big assets of Ginger, Panjim. They have a great well equipped fitness center in house.

The Location is CBD Goa, so at Night it is silent and away from action. Casinos are nearby. Good restaurant, small rooms (a little Crampy). Staff is courteous and helpful. They offered late checkout till 1:30 PM when I informed them that I have a late flight out of Goa.

The Ginger GOA is a very clean and comfortable Hotel with good cooperative staff and very nice ambience.I got a little costlier rate because probably I booked it through Bookings.com because they have been charging 10% extra in the name of maintenance I fail to understand how come? When I pay so heavily for a room is maintenence not included in the price? But the stay and cleanliness,the housekeeping and culinary experience are too good.

Ginger Goa, at Panjim is an excellent option for stay. It is with in a proximity of 1-2 km from main city. The area where hotel is located may be an upcoming part of Panjim. With renowned restaurant Ritz Classic, Patto is close by to Ginger! The stay was good, hotel was neat, clean and hygienic. The staff are truly good and caring. The restaurant serves good food but higher pricing may be a negative! The buffet breakfast is charged, either pay separately or add when you book the room. But quality of breakfast was good when compared with price you pay. The rooms were bit small but had all modern amenities. Hotel has gym, kids play area, enough parking space with security. Overall a comfortable bed, pillows and linen, bath towels are provided. The pricing may be slightly higher but it is compensated with a pleasant stay at this property.
