-10 of COLD. 60 inches of snow. Kids. Work. Severe shortage of nitrogen in our bloodstream. We needed an escape. Enter the Seagrape Plantation in Roatan and it was salvation! The Plantation is a divers paradise, so let's start with the diving and the dive team. They are nothing short of spectacular. Hugo, Ricky, Steiner, Kevin and Dewey are professional,...

We were so lucky that a bungalow was available for our 8 days in Roatan. Many of the people there rent for a month or more and make their reservation a year in advance. The bungalow was a large room with a queen and twin bed, closet space and a large bathroom with shower. The best part however, was the...

I spent a week with a friend at Seagrape in March. We had a nice clean room. Seagrape is located a short walk out of the action in WestEnd. We did some snorkelling from the stairs leading into the sea, and made full use of the small but refreshing pool. Staff is helpful and courteous. We ate breakfast on site,...

The hotel and bungalows were great. We stayed one night in the hotel and the remainder of the week in bungalow 1A. The adjustment of the hot water in the Bungalow took a few tries to get it down but once mastered we could easily adjust the temperature. The air conditioner was a breeze to operate and set. Breakfast was...

Stayed three nights as part of a tour. Room was ok although problem getting any hot water. Maintenance tried to fix but it only lasted for a while. Breakfast is now included with room. It is adequate but nothing special. Each day is different but done on a budget! Weather was not so good during our stay, not the hotels...

You will not find a better place to stay on the island. From the time we arrived until we left the feeling we got was one of family. Mariela, her family and all the people involved running the resort were first class all the way. We stayed in a bungalow along the ocean and it was great. Hearing the waves crash...

We had an excellent stay at Seagrape. This was our third time back and we plan on returning before the end of the year. The snorkeling off the shore is AMAZING. Rooms so comfortable, clean, and quiet. Easy walk to West End. Pool and grounds are well maintained. At breakfast we were greeted with smiles and served very tasty food....

Very quiet stay at Seagrape Plantation. Enjoyed staying in the bungalows. The morning breakfast were very adequate. The option of being able to just walk over to the dive shop for their 3x daily excursions was perfect. The location was also great for walks to West End for dinners and entertain was great.

Absolutely the best resort on Roatan if you're looking for a combination of 1) quality, 2) friendly, and 3) cost. The Seagrape Plantation Resort is on the edge of town, a 5 minute walk from the business district. This gives the resort a unique combination of space, but with a close proximity to the bustle of town. Most of the...

This dive resort is the perfect place to stay in Roatan! It's at the "end of the road" in the West End area, so it's quiet and secluded but within easy walking distance to town. The rooms and property were immaculately clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. All of this for an extremely reasonable price. I would highly...
