We just spent a lovely almost-week in Tranquilseas King Crab suite, and it was terrific. Tranquilseas is a small, funky little resort in Sandy Bay, with only seven rooms, an on-site dive shop, right on the barrier reef that circles the island of Roatan. It is right down the road from the much bigger operation, Anthony's Key Resort, which has...

Adiel, Bobby, Julie were my family away from home, can't say enough. Traveling alone, I was able to always have a safety net for questions about the island, how to do this and that and especially the infinity of smiles and incredible attitudes were infectious day in and out. Their sweet hospitality was wonderful. Adasha was wonderful about making sure...

A family vacation at Tranquil Seas turned into a two month extended stay for me. Every detail of my visit was excellent. The management and staff could not be more attentive. The rooms are extraordinary with many having unobstructed views of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Did not take advantage of the amazing scuba diving offered at TS but snorkeled daily....

7 room Hotel on Sandy Beach, the entire staff made our visit memorable. Just spent 8 nights there. We had to move our room on the first night from 'Tortuga' to 'Eagle Ray' only because of their prior bookings, but the staff made the move seamless. Room prices are based on size and views. We cannot say enough about the...

We enjoyed our trip to Tranquil Seas so much that we are planning our second trip. The staff are wonderful and take great care of the guests. Our family scuba trip was an amazing success and the dive operation attached to the hotel is extremely professional. The dive groups were small and the dive guides really knew the area and...

We found this resort and it felt like the right fit from the descriptions. When we arrived, it did not disappoint. Our intent was a dive holiday and this resort is right on the edge of an incredible reef. Our suite (Octopus) was roomy and comfortable and still had a Honduran charm. The staff was attentive and always made us...

This trip was a total success on all fronts. The shuttle from the airport was waiting and air conditioned. The Octopus suite was really impressive with two showers and three sinks - also with good air conditioning. The hotel and restaurant staff were super friendly and food was excellent. There was live music some nights and one evening they hosted...

Tranquilseas is an ideal location to stay while visiting Roatan! The rooms and amenities were flawless. We were greeted with a welcome drink by friendly and helpful staff. The resort is located in Sandy Bay- close enough to West End and West Bay to experience both locations, but secluded enough to feel tranquil. The food is phenomenal and the Head...

Our week-long stay at Tranquilseas couldn't have been better. Chris and his staff are wonderful, the food at the Sunken Fish is delicious, and the rooms are charming and full of character. Highlights include quiet morning reading on the expansive open deck, evening stargazing out on the dock, and night snorkling around the sunken dock just offshore. Chris was kind...

Total darkness for the last 2 hrs . Disappointed... this is such small resort, I do t think it should be that hard for a staff member to know on every door to let us know what is going on . Starving ... but the darkness persists ..
