A boutique hotel at its best. The owners bought & refurbished Los Almendros 12 years ago - there are before & after photos in the lobby. Lovely rooms, wherever you are you'll be happy! I was with my parents who were in Room 1, an amazing suite. I was in room 6, also gorgeous. Good breakfast choices and then lovely...

We went for a drive and did not expect to see that a Hotel such as this existed in a remote town like Suchitoto and to top it off it was a rare experience seeing it with a restaurant that is of French cuisine with local twist. It was unbelievable. I like how they mix local taste with French touch...

We had a very pleasant stay in this lovely hotel. It was close to the town square, good food and wifi in the lobby/bar area. The rooms I saw surrounded a central courtyard. Our room was a little dark and privacy was lacking because the courtyard was right out our one window. The pool was located in another area. I...

Overall, this is a really lovely Hotel with just six rooms surrounding a leafy courtyard containing a fountain. The rooms are all individually designed, comfortably blending traditional with modern touches. Our room was spacious and cool, and, like the rest of the hotel, scattered with objets d'art. There are comfortable chairs all around the courtyard verandah and while the bar itself...

I was utterly enchanted upon arrival at this hotel in the little town of Suchitoto, surely the nicest town in El Salvador - and this hotel the nicest in it. The hotel is unassuming from the outside, but inside, it is imbued with the exquisite taste possessed by the amiable French owner, who incidentally has not only converted this old...

This is a lovely hotel its has been restored and furnished with beautiful furniture and paintings. The rooms are around a central courtyard with many plants. The ambiance is elegant and charming. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is very good, Suchitoto is quaint and old fashioned with cobbled streets, nice to walk around. An example of how...

close to town and several small restaurants; wonderful quaint rooms, very nice shower (always a plus), great view from top balcony, ask for a room near the front; the stone pathways may be slippery- don't wear leather soled shoes; wifi in main areas, just not in the rooms

We stayed two nights in this beautiful little hotel that felt like staying with a very rich friend. We had the mezzanine suite, with a good sized bathroom and a small sitting area on the ground floor, and a comfortable, large double bed up a very steep flight of tiled steps. The air con kept the rom cool. The rooms...

We were tempted in to Los Almendros by the view of the exquisite library and courtyard from the street. The maître d' came out to invite us to have a look inside, where we met the owner and his new Boston Terrier puppy. We were shown their room number 1, the master suite, and decided to treat ourselves for a...

The staff here are efficient, very friendly and really make you feel welcome. This small hotel boasts a very good restaurant and a lovely courtyard where breakfast is served. Like many places in El Salvador there are issues. Here, the water was lukewarm, lighting in the room was poor and we had to keep the curtains drawn as fellow guests...
