Siona Lodge is situated by a lagoon and is in a very beautiful location. The cabins are basic with decent hot shower and flushing toilet. There is no air con so sleeping was a bit difficult but of course you are in the Amazon which is incredible. Electricity goes off at 10 pm so everyone went to bed by this...

An affordable, comfortable lodge. Welcoming staff and no shortage of food. Our guide, Neiser, has 14+ years of experience and was nothing short of amazing. Such eyes and ears, he saw and heard everything. The Amazon is amazing. The variety of flora and fauna second to none. Sustainable tourism is so important. It helps to preserve this wonderful place.

If you want an Amazone experience, Siona Lodge could be your place. Our five days tour to Siona Lodge was our second visit to the Amazone (first was in Peru) so we had some expectations. And the expectations were fulfilled, no exceeded. The lodge is nicely located at Laguna Grande, have a limited number of cabins, so definitely not crowded....

I spend there 5 days. Lodge is located on the lagoon so views are beautiful. The place is very peaceful. Service is very open and helpful. Food is very OK. Rooms are clean. Our guide Luis was great. I couldn't believe how human can spot so many animals even when boat is moving so quick. I definitely enjoyed my stay...

Loved this place for how Eco friendly they are. Very committed to preserving the amazon as it is (despite the use of motored long boats as transportation-no way around it) and teaching visitors about the environment they're interacting with. Our guide Neissa was beyond eagle eyed, spotting sloths at the topmost canopy to 1cm long poison frogs on the forest...

I chose the Siona Lodge because it was the only lodget, besides the Tapir Lodge, that could explain their policy regarding sharing benefits with local people. But, it was our guide, Neiser, whoreally made this tour awesome. He is an amazing bird watcher and also a great conservationist who made conservation part of the information and stories he told. The...

There are a dozen plus lodges around the same stretch of river in the Cuyabeno Reserve--Siona was my choice, and I couldn't be happier with the selection. Very nice rooms with reliable hot water, excellent meals and a beautiful setting overall. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of local botany, animal life and the regional political/economic conditions as well. I learned...

After being picked up at the airport, we traveled by bus to the river and then took our time spotting wildlife on the 1.5 hr canoe ride to the remote lodge. Our guide, Neiser, was passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of the amazon (species, history, future, ecotourism, local people etc.) and had an uncanny ability in spotting everything......birds, insects,...
