Goma is kind of not easy city, so security is an issue if you sleep there! In the hotel somehow you feel confortable! Rooms are nice and clean! Shower works very well with hot water and nice pression! Location at lake is very beautifull and also has nice bar and pool! Service is not excepcional but is also not desapointing!wi... More

The hotel has fantastic views on the lake, a nice restaurant with a good breakfast and a great swimming pool & tennis courts. The rooms are nice but a bit dated. I found the price value relationship ok and paid $128 a night. I would definitely chose this hotel again when I travel next time to Goma.

This hotel is a collection of buildings on the shore of Lake Kivu. I was there twice on this trip and saw three rooms. They were quite different is size and layout, and each had significant quirks. Not everything works, and electricity isn't entirely reliable. Overall, the hotel is comfortable, but it needs to be upgraded. Many of the rooms... More

Had to spend a week here on a business trip and was booked at the Ihusi Hotel. About a year ago I spent a week in the same hotel and was looking forward to the stay. The room was not very nice the mattress was as soft as the concrete floor and there was little water pressure and when I... More

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have stayed at Ihusi Hotel. I have mixed reviews of the hotel based on the 2 rooms I have tried this time around. I first chose Room 30 since this was near the entrance and the reception. I figured I didn’t really want a long walk in the morning. The room was... More

I liked the hotel for everything. I was impressed by its professional staff and well arranged everything. The only thing that I was taken aback on were the dusty bulb shades in the room. The hotel hosts workers from several international organisations and a melting pot for several cultures.

The Ihusi hotel offers great views of the lake, especially from the restaurant and bar. Most of the staff was lovely, and the food at the bar was really good. The breakfast was ok, almost only local produce. The room felt very dated and quite dark (I had the 100 USD room). I couldnt get the fridge nor the TV... More

Near the border of Rwanda and DR Congo, great view of the lake Kivu, perfect place to stay long while working. Tennis courts are excellent. Restaurant prices are very high though. meals range from $18 to $25 on average. Best hotel in Goma for sure.

Good, comfortable, scenic hotel; best accommodation in Goma; while not as sophisticated and spectacular as Lake Kivu Serena across the border in Rwanda's Gisenyi, it's still an island of serenity and cleanliness amid Goma's African hustle and bustle; mostly for the business and conference traveller; beachfront can't match Serena's across the border.
