Went there for 2 nights, one being a new year's eve. We had a party both nights in the dining room. The food is great. You can also get some traditional dishes from the region. Goran is also the best host. While the exterior might look a little bit old, the interrior is new and tidy.

Stopped for one night because we wanted to go for a walk in the Samobor Gorge. The room was comfortable and clean and the verandah a treat as it is so peaceful and commands a great view across the valley. The food was superb, particularly the breakfast. Only downside was that a couple of local dogs decided to have a...

This pitoresque pension located in small hilly village Slani Dol is a very nice place in the nature park "Samoborsko i Zumberacko gorje", located just 30min from Zagreb. Owned by a friendly young family, the place includes nice cosy rooms and traditionally styled restaurant with delicious domestic food for very affordable prices. They also produce and sell their own herb...

Delicious local homemade food and vine restaurant near Samobor. Vegetable soup is a must, pork and potatoes also. Will come again and again because Goran and his wife are very nice and courteous and the atmosphere in there is warm.

We were travelling from Plitvice Park to Zagreb and wanted to find a place to stay in between those destinations. We ended up booking a room at Pension Gogo and I'm so glad we did! Making the reservation was easy and Goran, the owner, was prompt with his email replies to our questions. When we arrived Goran recommended one of...

We have heard about the pension so we decided to visit. We were delighted how everything was perfect. The kindness, warmth and feeling of home is only a small part of the tradition of this region. We hope to have the opportunity to come back.

Fantastic location, service, food and hosts! We went there during working days so the food offer was modest compared to weekend, but everything they offer us was fresh, delicious and not expansive. Must visit place for everyone who wants to experience this part of Croatia. We are definitely coming back!

After spending nine days at tourist hot spots, driving into Slani Dol at dusk was like entering another world. The village, ten minutes from Samobor is frozen in time with only 200 or so inhabitants, hugs a hillside between small fields, vineyards and a National Park. At the end of the village your bush walk begins. Not yet jaded by...
