This is a very nice hotel, I liked it immediately when the receptionist informed us that in her behind is a lift. Further hilarity was caused in the pool - which is lovely, worth packing a costume for - which has a feature that blows big bubbles around your nether regions when you sit. We had a great ('superior') room...

Cute little village, wonderful air and excellent view. The old part of the village has no traffic so you park outside. The hotel will send a jeep to pick you up. Then it starts: in the middle of this old village a modern mini-grand hotel! Great food, superb service!

Our room was on the second floor of this old restored castle. The views from it of the valley below were breath-taking. This was our base for visiting other Istrian sights and we loved coming back at the end of each day (of 4) to our almost-in-the-clouds retreat. Be sure to enjoy morning and evening walks on the ramparts after...

We were very pleased with our room. We had a view of the court yard, church and bell tower. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was very efficient. The breakfast buffet was also very good. I would recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

We spent 2 nights here on a cycling holiday. Motovun is situated on top of a steep hill with cobbled streets around it. The hotel is at the very top of the hill in a pedestrian only area. If you arrive by car there is a car park and the hotel arrange for your luggage to be taken up. The...

The quaint hotel is situated at the top of the hill and offers gorgeous views of the surrounding area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was helpful and the food at the restaurant was good.

It's summer and there was no AC (one desk fan is NOT the same!), so I was perfectly miserable during our stay. But the hotel staff were lovely and super helpful assisting us with wineries to visit. The pool was beautiful. The rooms, while small (and warm), were clean. A perfect hotel for fall and spring visits to Motovun.

The hotel is located in the middle of Motovun at the top of the hill, and we would not really consider any other accomodation if visiting Motovun. The room and the rest of the hotel hax a fair/nice standard and we had a comfortable stay. There is a nice wellness area with indoor pool, which is a pleasant alternative when...

Big, quiet room with a great view of the area from on top of a mountain. The spa facilities were great and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and it had a wide variety of choices. The staff was bi-lingual and friendly… except for the gentleman that checked us in, he had a lot of attitude. Luckily he wasn't there the...

We stayed here two nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. Our room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly, and the breakfasts are excellent with a great variety of delicious food. There's also a pleasant outdoor restaurant that features truffle dishes. As far as the location goes, it's a bit difficult to get to the hotel from the...
