Stay here for 2 night. To sum it up if you are a traveler and just need a clean, safe and convinience place to stay this is it. Staff is also helpful to advised what to watch out and how to save money on tour

We had a compact, comfortable room with a small open terrace in front of the room extending along the hallway in which to sit and relax. For a compact room, it was well-equipped with hair dryer, TV, kettle, kleenex, hand and bath soap and telephone. For a small charge, laundry could be done for you and hung to dry. When...

Firstly, the hotel is conveniently located, close to the main areas but not so close that it is too noisy. It can be a little loud at night, but I am afraid this will be true of anywhere in Lijiang Old Town. Shanghai Family No.68 Hostel was one of our destinations during our trip around China. The communication ahead was without any problems. Judy helped arrange a taxi for us (the driver was just amazing). So even before arriving to the hostel it self we had a good feeling. Shanghai Family is situated just a few steps from the main pedestrian street...

I stayed a couple nights here and it was great. The rooms were well setup and everything you need was provided. What I liked the most were the people working there, who were quite friendly and helpful. They even helped me buy my bus ticket back to Kunming and get it delivered to the hostel. Challenge them to a game...

The owner, Judy, is so helpful and speaks great English. We stayed for one night and kept a room for the full next day. The rooms are cosy, clean and have everything one need to stay comfortable.

We had an excellent stay for 4 nights at the Shanghai Family No. 68 Hostel. Rooms are clean (including toilet) with 24 hrs hot water supply. Judy and her family are very helpful in giving us touring advice. This hostel has made our Lijiang experience very unique and memorable! Highly recommend!
