We were reasonably pleased with the YouU hotel. The English speaking receptionist was friendly and helpful. It is just a short 5 minute taxi ride to the national park. Our room, which was big and had a balcony was 360 rmb a night and the shower was hot. Internet was included in our room and was fast. On the downside,... More

We had such a bad experience. The doorms had not been cleaned for at least 3 months. There was garbage everywhere and it smelled terrible. Also haires in the bed + bed had no matrasses but was stone hard! They riped us of with a taxi ride + tried to not give us back our deposit (we called before if... More

I would like to say that this in not a real hostel, infact there are a lot of private rooms (maybe good rooms, i don't know) and also dorms, but dorms are abandoned....the feeling is that they mantain dorms only because they are on a famous guidebook. The dorms were really dirty, with broken beds, there was not hot water,... More

We stayed here for two nights and though it is a big place, I'm pretty sure that no one else was in the hotel. The room we bargained down to 200 yuan, a big discount on the advertised rate. The room was great; roomy, clean, good shower/bed, and well designed. The staff were helpful and their western cafe is very... More

Absolutely do not stay here. We had $600 stolen from us at this location. stayed up all night with the police and hotel staff and came to no conclusion. The rooms are extremely cold, no hot water and the heaters never really heated up. Granted, we were here in December, but they charge a big price for a fancy facade.... More
