I stay in Birmingham frequently for work. I've only stayed at this hotel three times because of the (lack of) proximity to downtown. The hotel is known for the golf course (which I've played, and is nice). It's also a decent conference hotel - however, it's not a good commuting hotel to downtown. I stayed again recently on business because...

Had the great experience of playing Ross Bridge during a trip to Alabama to play the Trail. Every aspect of this facility is first rate. The clubhouse is beautiful. The practice facility is excellent and the practice green was huge. The golf course was beautifully maintained and every step led to amazing views. The design was imaginative and fun to...

Jim S, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful golf experience with us! I personally feel that the Robert Trent Jones Ross Bridge course is truly magnificent and unique, and I am so happy to hear that you were able to enjoy our bagpiper, and that it exceeded your expectations! Next time, you should play our other course, Oxmoor...

My buddies and I golf the Robert Trent Jones golf course for a week every other year. This year we started in Mobile, AL and golfed our way up the state ending at Ross bridge. All of our wives drove from the STL area to meet us for the balance of the week. The guys have RAVED about this lodging...

Dear Bhut32217, We’re not happy that we missed the mark on our opportunity to dazzle you here at the castle. It’s not acceptable and I apologize that we didn’t do well on making your stay here what it should have been. Your experience in our coffee shop was definitely not up to standard and to verbally deliver the message to...

Look around but stay here - small intimate casino - lots of restaurants and outdoor space and friendly staff - the dooms in the tower on floor 9 overlooking the pool are great - at $150 a night in sept this is is good deal - open areas - walk to beach too and great outdoor fire pits too.

Visited this hotel for a conference. Unfortunately did not get to use much of the facilities. The rooms were very nice, quite and comfortable. The food served during the conference was prepared very well and the staff were extremly friendly. Nice place to visit but a bit expensive.

I stayed here solo for 3 nights while attending the Porsche Performance Driving School (which was awesome in itself) and was generally pretty pleased with the Renaissance. I'm not a golfer so can't comment on that aspect of the hotel, but I can say that the property is well maintained, clean, with friendly staff, nice big rooms and big bathroom...

Although the hotel is very well appointed and the grounds lovely, this hotel is greedy. $9.99/ day for internet in your room and the Clubhouse restaurant was extremely expensive for lackluster food and poor service. Brocks restaurant was also pricey, but the wonderful staff and the quality of the food made up for it in a big way. The only...

We first stayed here shortly after it opened (7 or 8 years ago), and enjoyed it then, as we did now. The rooms are in good shape with nice comfy beds and everything is kept clean and odor-free. In the room, everything was quiet and peaceful with little to no noise from the hall or neighbors. The bathroom was huge...

My wife and I decided to get away for a night to celebrate our birthdays and since we could only do one night we chose to stay in Birmingham. We chose Ross Bridge because of the spa/restaurant choices available on site. Here are my thoughts: Pool: Pros - nicely landscaped, uncrowded, bar service was quick and consistent Cons - I...

Picked this resort as I was entertaining clients with a round of golf. Beautiful property surrounded by gorgeous homes. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were large and very clean. Although I was there for business, it looks like it would be a nice place to takes the kids for a weekend. Pool area was very large and looked like a...
