Stayed in this hostel for 2D1N with my wife the night before we hike Huangshan mountain. My experience can be summarized as below: What's impressive: - Hostel located at the historic place right on the busy Old Street in Huangshan. It serves as a good base before exploring Huangshan mountain. - Plenty of food options nearby hostel just along the...

Amazing place right in center of old town, I arrived very late so didn't get to see much of old town. This hostel is nice and clean and well worth the price. I took a bed in four bed room and would recommend that. Their bar was also amazing, although it was almost empty the time I went but can...

This great little hostel is situated above a tea shop in Tunxi's Old Street. A great base before the hike up Huangshan, the hostel is fairly easy to find, and you can catch a bus to Old Street for a couple of yuan from Huangshan Bei (North) train station (30 minutes away). A friend and I stayed in a private...

An excellent place to stay, and cheap as well. The historic building with its interior courtyard is amazing, almost like a museum. The rooms are very cozy and charming (although they did get a bit chilly at night), The staff is also very friendly. We had both their breakfast and dinner, both excellent. So basically, this place is amazing, no...

Like in most Hostels in China, the service here is very good: we were served by a young, very smart girl who spoke excellent English. She was eager to answer all our questions and help us in every way she could. She explained us how to get to the Hongcun and Xidi villages and even wrote us in Chinese what...

For some reason this is marked as it is located in Huangshan, in reality this is town called Tunxi ! The hostel is located right on the "historical" old street ( in reality not so historical as many places in China it is rebuild). Location is good, prices are OK for what you get, beer in the on-site restaurant is...

We stayed in a six bed dorm for 40 yuan, pretty good value. Room itself was good, spacious with large lockers and air con. Hostel is in a good location on old street and has a nice bar with pool table and karaoke, if you're so inclined! The reason for the average rating is that there was no bathroom in...

Perfect base: Absolutely loved the location. The old street was full of shops and restaurants, one can spend hours walking through it. Perfect place to stay to explore nearby towns like Hongcun and Xidi, and the beautiful Huangshan, which they can arrange for you to get there. We stayed in a triple room for less than US$30 a night. We...

Hostel is nicely located on the Old Street with lovely shops and excellent places to eat. Bit confusing to find it as the entrance is through the shop with tea leaves. It makes this place special but more visible information would be appreciated. People from other shops guessing that we are searching for this hostel immediately went to us to...

We thought this hostel was excellent and enjoyed our stay here. We stayed two nights in a private double room, and at $30/night thought the facilities were clean and adequate for the price. The room was spacious, with a comfortable Japanese-type low bed. Bathroom was clean though fussier guests may not have thought so. The location of the hostel is...
