Masairi is perhaps 10-15 min walk to the center of San Pedro, which is perfect if you want some quiet at night. We traveled around the antofogasta region by car with gps. Masairi was located on a street that wasn't on the navigator, which led to 45 min circling around with frustrated kids as it was difficult to get directions...

I had a hard time deciding where to stay in San Pedro because places that had good reviews and looked nice on photos were just too pricey. So it was with mixed feelings that I booked this places as reviews on Tripadvisor seemed to go in both direction. I would not have needed to worry though: Luis and Ruby were...

We easily booked our stay for 2 nights online and was happily greeted when we arrived (11pm). We actually enjoyed our stay enough to add an extra night, which was not a problem. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and cleaned daily. The cement floors were really cold, but what do you expect in June in Chile. The staff was...

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast great! The location is a short walk out of town, and we loved getting away from the busy center. The only reason I'm not giving this place top marks is that the hotel is missing basic things which you'd expect at this price. For instance, the owner had promised us to print...

From the outside this hostel looks very rustic to put it mildly. However the rooms are quite nice and relatively cool and the owners very friendly and helpful. We never had the chance to try the breakfast, so cannot say anything related to that. As all othe accomodation in San Pedro the Masairi seems a bit overpriced

This hotel is in a horrible location about a 20 min walk from the center of San Pedro. The area where it is has no paved roads and you need a flash light to walk back at night because it so dark. The rooms are nice and clean, but the staff is pretty unfriendly and rude except for cynthia. They...

Stayed at hostel Masairi for 3 nights. It is a clean, beautiful authentic place. The only cons that I can mention it is overpriced like anything else in Chile and the Internet at the hostel it is useless, to do any bookings or reservations over the net you ll have to go in town to a restaurant.

We loved this small hostel! The room was charming and big enough with a comfortable bed and a nice and clean the bathroom. Staff is really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good, although the breakfast room a bit cold and impersonal. The hostal is a 15min walk to the centre, but that also makes it very quiet at night.

The hotel and the staff were amazing! Breakfast was perfect with freshly made smoothies and something different each day. The rooms did get cold at night but there was a very good electric heater in the room which soon warmed the place up and there were plenty of warm blankets. The rooms are beautiful with lots of lovely features and...
