We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom for 5 days while in San Pedro de Atacama. We loved it. The family who run it were really nice and accommodating. You can book trips through them which makes it really easy to get straight out exploring. They leave your breakfast the night before which is genius as lots...

It's a good hostel, I didn't have any problems there. However, like everywhere in San Pedro it's expensive and I didn't see any dorm rooms which would have been cheaper. The rooms are small but nice and giving breakfast the night before is a good idea because of a lot of early morning tours. A solid place to stay.

My girlfriend and I were verbally abused by the owner of this hostel and we were forced to leave and find another place while she was screaming at us. Moreover, the wifi did not work and the place is not only a bit far from the centre, but most importantly, there is no light on the streets leading there, which...

Clean and comfortable. Rooms have great views and beds are fab. Hot water plentiful especially in afternoon. Allowed us to leave bags on last day. But kitchen was small with dirty sponge. Wifi very patchy. Other guests took food from us on our last days and we left a note about this as we had little money. The owner responded...

This modest hostel is on the perimeter of the town, and you will not find it on your own, but the proprietor is willing to pick you up at the bus station. The grounds around are dump, but view of the volcano Licancabur is fantastic. San Pedro is a pricey town, hostels and food are equally overpriced, and Millantu is...

Slyvia of Milantu is a fab host who collects you from the border crossing and makes you feel very at home. although a little walk out from the town the views around the hostal are super and the breakfast is very decent. Thoroughly enjoy spending time with a real chilean family who warmly welcomed us to their home.
