On first glance as you meander off from the bus depot, San Pedro looks like a dust bowl town in the middle of nowhere. Dusty adobe walls, dust all over the streets, unmade roads with ruts everywhere & stray dogs all over the place. Then you settle in...the place is a tiny tourist Mecca. Hostels abound, tour operators are everywhere,...

The hotel is in an excellent loction and provides decent food and a nice pool. The downside is that the rooms get very hot and there are no screens on the windows. No fans or air conditioning. Without screens, keeping the windows open invites the insects who bite.

Everything is expensive in San Pedro. This hotel was clean, the front desk spoke English, and they served a decent breakfast- nothing to write home about. They arranged for my return transfer to the airport. Pretty good! Great location! Fairly large so I felt safe alone.

best things - location and pool (although the latter was v shallow and often cold as it is not heated). It is two blocks away from the main street where all the restaurants are so v good location. The cleaners and the lovely lady who came to sort our safe out deserve a mention - better than the rest! worst...

This a a low rise hotel a few minutes walk from the main drag of San Pedro de Atacama. I loved the pool (though the deep end is shallow and the shallow end is really shallow). The breakfast was nice enough - though the rooms were a bit cramped. But the real problem was that many of the rooms are...

This is a hotel in the desert with no aircon. The room was hot and uncomfortable. Wi-Fi works in Reception but not in the room. Breakfast was basic. The self service buffet was positioned in a corner which made access difficult. The hotel is a short walk into town. I did not enjoy my stay here.

All things considered the place was about average. Had a pool, water was way too cold in December. Breakfast was complimentary but nothing fancy basic stuff. Room was adequate but ours had an exceptionally bad shower and the view outside the window was of all the discarded fixtures from the hotel, big pile of discard. Location was A+, and considering...

Really good hotel for families, great pool, the bedroom is big, with good bathroom and a safe inside the closet. The only thing is that the rooms don't have air conditioning and wifi connection, for internet you have to stay at the common areas (reception, pool and restaurant)

The features of the hotel were spot on. The attention to cleanliness was also of high standard. Customer service was very poor. Our electronic devices went walk about and no real action was taken. We spoke to our travel insurance and was told not to worry as all was covered so we didn't make a big deal but if we...

We were stayed in Hosteria San Pedro for a night at either end of a 155 mile run across the Atacama desert, so the accommodation was booked for us by the race company. There's nothing particularly wrong about the hotel, but it could be so much better....and when we discovered how much over night it was, it's very over-priced! The...
