The staff was very accommodating and there for my needs. The excursions were done by knowledgeable guides who provided incredible insight into the different areas we visited. I would recommend this property.

Wonderful place all round. Very nicely set up to blend with the surroundings. All inclusive makes it an excellent deal. We had a fun time with the various excursions - the guides were very knowledgeable.

If you are planning to visit Chile consider a trip to the Atacama Desert as part. of your adventure. The Atacama region encompasses about 3000 square miles of desert. But the lodge and the town of Atacama are near the salt flat, an environment with the High Andes as a back drop, hot springs, salt marshes with flamingos and just...

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, an oasis in the Mars-like dry desert. The buildings blend perfectly with the surroundings, and you hear the river in front of your room 24/7. There are six swimming pools so you can always find somewhere to relax in private. The spa and sauna were terrific. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly....

A memorable stay in a hotel that seemed at one with its environment. Food and fine Chilean wines on the all inclusive packages were truly excellent. Our room with its view over the quirky gardens to the red cliffs beyond was a very private world. We enjoyed our chats with the Botanist/Landscape Architect who designed the gardens and to whom...

Dear George, We deeply thank you for your genuine review!... We are very impressed and honoured, because you had the opportunity to know our botanist ( Veronica Poblete). She created the Andean Scape concept in Chile, and that's a remarkable thing to experienced. Regarding the plants you tried, we could send you a list , but they are native plants...

Friendly staff, great food, interesting and varied range of tours with guides and vehicles provided by the hotel. Fine Chilean wines were served with the food. Our room was spacious and opened into a garden of native plants. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

What they say is true. This is a beautiful place with attentive, friendly service. We spent four nights, lined up a full itinerary of excursions on arrival, and loved every one of them. We only wished we had booked another day so as to work in a couple more. The food is good (if not superb) and carefully presented. The...

We spent 5 nights at the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The food accommodation and service were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who took great care to tailor excursions to our requirements. This was all inclusive to a luxurious standard. The trips into the high Andes were just spectacular.

We spent five nights at Alto Atacama and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is beautiful and fits perfectly into the landscape. Food is very good, but the best is the people. The staff at the hotel is wonderful. They anticipate to any need you may have. The tour guides are also great. It is worth every penny.
